This is one of my favorite construction books of all time. The principles laid out in Jason Schroeder’s work will serve anyone in the design and construction industry interested in achieving exceptional work. I highly recommend you pick it up and raise the bar to higher standards today. I’m using it in my work and the feedback from my partners has been positive, encouraging, and supportive.

I really like the principle and supporting story organization of the book. It reminds me of Dale Carnegie’s famous book, “How to Win Friends, and Influence People” work that I’m equally a fan of.

Stories are the best way to support learning and Jason delivers powerful ideas, insights, and experiences in this book.

I loved reading this engaging story about Sam, construction superintendent, and his journey of discovery and growth that brought Lean ideas to life mirroring many of my own experiences.

This is a must read for anyone new or experienced with applying Lean to their projects or personal work. in design and construction. The guidelines at the end of the book are based on deep experiences by Joe and Keyan.

The observations by the Sam’s mentor in the story are real, our industry has changed. We project leaders must adapt to better serve our clients and respect the people who make ideas reality by the skill, sweat, and creativity of their work efforts.
