Not happy with the narrator
Revisado: 09-13-20
This book is really good, and it has great information, but this narrator leaves a lot to be desired. His reading is choppy, it’s not smooth, and he pronounces a lot of the words wrong which is very distracting. I think narrators should know how to pronounce all the words in the book.

Awesome book on Low Carb Living
Revisado: 03-26-15
I've listened to this book several times already. It's extremely informative and thorough. He reviews over 20 of the popular low-carb diets on the market today. It was great to get an overview of each of them. I love the frequently asked questions section and the tips for making a low-carb lifestyle work. The author really knows his stuff. I learned so much from this book. The man reading the book did a great job too. His voice is actually similar to the author's. I definitely recommend this book for anyone considering going on a low-carb program.

Historia
Researcher and thought leader Dr. Brené Brown offers a powerful new vision that encourages us to dare greatly: to embrace vulnerability and imperfection, to live wholeheartedly, and to courageously engage in our lives. In Daring Greatly, Dr. Brown challenges everything we think we know about vulnerability. Based on 12 years of research, her book argues that vulnerability is not weakness but rather our clearest path to courage, engagement, and meaningful connection.

Love Brene Brown, didn't like the narrator
Revisado: 09-27-12
This is an amazing book. I have listened to and loved Brene Brown's other two books and they have been so helpful to me in my life. However, I don't like this narrator at all. I would have loved if Brene Brown had read all of her books herself because I like her voice and so much of this information includes her personal experiences. The narrator of the other two books wasn't as good as having Brene reading herself, but that narrator was much better than this one. However, the content of this book is fantastic so I am putting up with the less than desirable narration.

An exploration of all aspects of the Abba member’s lives and careers. Amazingly detailed, it examines the group member’s family backgrounds, the pre-Abba days, the legendary 70s, the marriages, the divorces, the business ups and downs, and the post-Abba solo careers.

Excellent Book, Excellent narrator
Revisado: 09-11-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
yes, definitely. it's very detailed and comprehensive and takes you through the journey of the people that made up ABBA. It's incredibly well written and this is one of the best narrators I've ever heard.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Bright Lights, Dark Shadows?
I really enjoyed learning the family backgrounds of each performer and how they all ended up together. Very fascinating.
What about Adrian Mulraney’s performance did you like?
One of the most pleasant voices to listen to ever. This is very important with a book like this because this book is over 26 hours long.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
It was fascinating to learn about how the two couples came together and what broke them up.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed this book and I'm going to listen to it again. So thorough, deep and moving.
