This is the story on Zac (Sidecharacter from Wall of Winnipeg and Me) and Bianca ”the lazy baker”. This story pulls your heartstrings early on. Sweet, goofy and slow story of love. This is a story where true love girl gets her childhoods first love. Characters are good, storyline is mainly ok and readers are exelent.

I liked this love story of the sheltered naive girl and towns’ bad boy. It was sweet, full of drama and secrets and my favorite spice: loyalty. Will listen this again.

Unsatysfying ending

Shadow Emperess is final and thrid book of the night elves trilogy.

So far I was ok to be on this action packed journey with Alley and Gavin but this final book was disapointing to me - I’m sad to say this because I was looking forward to know how this end.

Well, I did found out even if I started really to dislike Alley in this book and feel really sorry for Gavin. I did not like the events, relationship or character development in this book at all.

First of all: book starts again with a time gap and Alley and Gavin are AGAIN unshure of others feeling. So we go again same plot through than in the first AND second book that they get in the same page. Fustrating.

Also in this book the sacrifices Gavin makes because of Alley starts to feel too much. I don’t understand why while Alley behaves as she does. 🤯

Narration was ok, again would have liked male voice doing Gavin’s part.

From Enemies to Lovers - finally

Ruined King is second book of the night elves trilogy. Book starts after couple of months time cap after first books events. This is little confusing, because this are not the same between main characters as in the end of the first book.

Heroine Ally things Marroc/Gavin has betrayed her while poor Gavin tries his best to get free and to help his mate even if it will hurt him. About half of the book goes to get their relationship in the same place as in the end of the first book. This I found really unpleasing. Luckily their relationship moves forward even if at the end Alleys action really went against my emotions and I started to dislike her. While she is action heroine, she acts stupid in many ways. It’s hard to relate to her.

Gavin on the other hand is wonderful character that has evolved a lot from the first book and kept doing so in this one. He is so strong character that you should listen this just to get to know him. I just with he would have more unselfish and emotionally mature counter part.

Lack of character and romantic relationship development is replaced in very fluent, action packed events. This is the best side of this story: events roll on, there are a lot of twists and turns.

Narration was again really good, but I would have enjoyed it even more of Gavin’s part would have been read by a male voice.

Action packed adventure

This book was quite a ride: no moment that things are too slow.

Auhors have build a very interesting world mixing reality, fantasy and norsk folklore. This book takes place 1000 years from now, arter the ragnarök. Main issue in this book is conflict between two races of elves: high elves and night elves. Night elves have been imprisoned under ground for 1000 years and they are trying to break the spell that keeps them confined.

Our journey starts here, Heroine Alley is a night elf assasin that tries to free her people. Hero Marroc aka cursed prince who has been imprisoned whole time and made into undead creature who can’t feel anything. They’re paths collide and the adventure begins.

Overall I enjoyed this book. It was light action packed story. But after saying that, there was a lot of lack in the romance storyline. Expecially heroine Ally didint seen to feel anything towards the Marroc, while he started to feel feelings towars h even without his soul. Alley seemed also otherwise little one dimentional character, even if she was not passive character.

Narration was fluent and good. Would have liked it even more if there would have been male reader to Marroc parts.

Sweet, feel good story

This story was nice, it was not typical one trope romance book but a mix of many. It was were relaxing book to listen. Narration was also Very good. I recomend this book to romance book lover, who likes ”finding your true love and your true self” stories.

Not quite there

Ava Taylor was new writer for me, but I bought the book because I was looking for steamy erotica stories.

Unfortunately this book didn’t hit the mark for me. Nattator has same ”note” in her voice and text isn’t written so that you could relate. Stories are about sex, yes, but they describe deeds, not feelings. Sometimes characters are really unlikeable. Expecially rock star story was Absolutely worst.

Avalon’s and Deans happy ending

Natural Born Killers is third book of Sick Boys series. In this, Ava and Dean find their version of HEA.

I had a mixed feelings of this book. Avalon’s violence was too much at times for me. But I liked very much hers and Dean’s connection.

Stone cold Queen is a second part or the ”sick boys” series. Dark and twisted story continues, violence and love main topics.

In this book Avalon accepts love, even if she is scared and tries to cope with her past and solving the secrets ahead.

This is a sequel, so listen Pretty Little Savage first. Also be warned that this is violent story, there are triggers: coping with rape and torture.

Dark story

Pretty Little Savage introduces us Avalon, tough young woman that has learn to survive in bad environment and standing up herself.

In the new school she meets ”sick boys”: Dean, Abel and Braxton. They start as enemies, not trusting eachother, even if Ava and Dean can’t keep away of eachother. There is Dark love story, twisted past, violence, a lot of mysteries and secrets.

This story was good in the dark way. This is not ”enchanted” so if you don’t like dark and twisted stories: skip this one. But if you do: I think you will enjoy Avalon’s story. She is one tough bitch that you have to like.

Be warned there is triggers: violence and rape
