This short, concise self-help book is quite a useful read for a novice public speaker. However, this does not seem to be for people looking for advanced suggestions. The book was quite well-written, and I especially liked the action points at the end of each chapter. I also enjoyed the little anecdotes spaced throughout.

In this case the author is explaining NLP exercises through a third person experience, this helps memorise the technique without having to "stop and try and go back to the story".
