This has been a great series so far, but the Narrator is so boring and doesn't emote the voices; she's very monotone.. I am going to take a break from the series because she annoys me.

I love Dusty Rhodes' stories and Gene Engene as Narrator brings them to life. he is so great at different voices and has the perfect western tone. I wish this story was longer!! can't wait to start book 2

Love the McCabe family series!!

When I started the first book I wasn't too sure about the Narrator but he grew on me quickly. I really looked forward to the second book as the first was fantastic!! This book I didn't enjoy as much, but it still was a good book and easy to listen to.
