Fantastic Follow Up!

These guys are just incredible storytellers, and while I was initially skeptical about them taking on the Jack Ryan universe, especially given how underwhelming many (but not all) of the post-Clancy books have been, Act of Defiance and now Defense Protocol are of the same caliber that made this genre so appealing to so many readers in the first place. Bravo!

Literally could not put it down, Great ending to a great story. I love how Winslow writes these intricate, multidimensional characters objectively as people with flaws who make mistakes but are not simply just good guys or bad guys but more often just people trapped by their circumstances or impossible choices - anyone can write a mob book or a drug cartel book, but the way Winslow weaves it all together is just beautiful.
