I like the story but...
Revisado: 12-31-24
The premise is stupid, on awakening day, you are presented to everyone publicly so one individual can announce your skill to the public.
if you are unfortunate enough, you will be announced as unskilled, you are then arrested?
It makes no sense, I could understand being taken into custody to be protected from people who want to hurt unskilled people because they think they are inferior to skilled people, or killed by zealots who think the gods want unskilled people dead because it's heresy to not be given a skill on awakening day.
However that's not the case seeing as how the guards who arrest you, will attack you on the awakening stage until you are unconscious and drag you off stage to throw you in a locked carriage.
So for example: You are a 40 year old man, your son reaches the age of awakening and is announced as unskilled, what threat does your unskilled son pose that he must be violently arrested immediately,
I imagine even if you were completely unconnected to the unskilled child you would still be very suspicious of how unskilled people are treated and how no matter where you go around the world you can't seem to find any unskilled people in any cities no matter where you look.

Historia
Elaine is still far from home, far from Remus. Her friends and family don't even know if she's alive. However, not all is lost. Elaine has fallen in with some elves, who are willing to let her tag along while they head in the general direction of her home. They're off hunting shimagu, deadly bodyjackers that steal away all autonomy. Elaine finds a small measure of comfort in Serondes's arms, experimenting with her first relationship. Experimenting with granting others Immortality. Is the relationship going anywhere? What's in the egg that she's keeping safe? Can the elves be trusted?

Elaine the pretentious
Revisado: 12-18-24
You usually grow to like the protagonist as you get to know them. Sadly, Elaine is an unbearable brat who always has to be the center of attention. I wouldn't complain if Elaine was a girl her age but she was a grown woman before reincarnating. She whines and complains about every little thing and when someone else has an issue she tells them to 'stop whining and suck it up.' You could tell from the very first book that the author is a huge feminist and it bleeds into every following book as she makes her protagonist more and more unbearable.

Historia
They called him Sven, the Shatterfist. One of a group of heroes who fought the Demon Lord Mannon. He's finally returned home. But for Sven, after returning from abroad, life isn't what it used to be. Adventuring isn't what it used to be. Things have changed. Something is different. The obvious next step? Retire. Settle down. Start his own tavern. Drink with magic girls. Maybe not in that order.

The story is boring and the MC is such a spineless guy for being so powerful while also having no self-control.

Historia
Steve doesn’t know who he was. He does know a lot more than he did previously, though. He’s in a country called Lamals where men are required to have children, then more often than not, go fight and die. And that’s just how it is. Things are at least improving, though. Steve successfully put a stop to the Creep’s advance. He’d buried it under a mountain of broken wall and escaped with his life. Which eliminates one enemy. The creep and its undead.

The MC has no substance
Revisado: 07-16-24
His nickname is the brute and it fits, he lacks intelligence, he is cruel but acts kind, he likes to act like he's a good person but his answer towards any problem, kill them, say sorry, blame everybody else for making him kill, as if it hasn't been his go-to solution since meeting Nikki. Story is decent but the way the main character acts and the way everyone acts around the MC is ridiculous.

smart mc is an idiot
Revisado: 06-18-24
The first book hooked me, i really wanted to like book 2. However the main character goes from being a semi smart character who has a bunch of great ideas and plans, to a moron who contradicts himself at every turn. He says he thinks the overlord is suspicious and might be evil, so he naturally he yells at the overlord like that's a good idea. He mentions that he knows the overlord has been watching him for a long time, so he makes an item to hide his actions from the overlord, and then tries to escape, but doesn't use the item he made for escaping. The author can't decide whether he wants the main character to be smart or dumb.

Historia
When it comes to action and adventure, every hero needs a good sidekick. Holmes has Watson, Batman has Robin, and Daniel has . . . Orrin. More like brothers than friends, they always have each other's backs. And as Daniel is the big, strong, handsome type, Orrin is more than happy to remain in his shadow at school, at parties, pretty much everywhere. Then things take a turn for the truly weird when a terrible accident catapults the pair into a world totally unlike their own, in which the rules of a role-playing game hold sway.

annoying skill/title notifications
Revisado: 05-04-24
I really enjoyed the story, though having to listen to skills and titles like [hero] said with an annoying voiceover line repeatedly really grates on your ears and makes you want to stop the story entirely.

Historia
Alana wasn’t always a child of the Kingdom of Bergond. In fact, she hails from an entirely different world. But an accident on Earth left her dead, and she was reincarnated as the daughter of a farmer and his wife in the hamlet of Orsken. Now, she’s learning how to live in a land vastly unlike that which she came from—and how to wield the new powers she possesses. For, even by the rules of her strange new home, Alana is special: a young bard capable of mending wounds, counteracting poisons, and healing the sick, all through the use of mana and her own mind.

decent
Revisado: 02-20-24
The story was decent up until chapter 20, not great or bad but I had to drop this after a certain character threw his life away over the corpse of a rabbit, I know they were desperate for food but over a rabbit? I could understand taking the risk if it were the corpse of a bear or deer but a rabbit? This certain character thought he was going to win 1 vs at least 5+ with shoddy weapons against trained soldiers... I can't stomach bad writing and the author made this character seem smart enough to know his plan was suicide, it's not even like they were in danger of starving in days, they had weeks, possibly even months. Not to mention he had plans to flee with his family and fiancee long before they would run out of food. As you can tell from my rant I am super annoyed at the author for writing such a stupid plot point.

Historia
In the 20th century Earth sent probes, transmissions, and welcoming messages to the stars. Unfortunately, someone noticed. The Galactics arrived with their battle fleet in 2052. Rather than being exterminated under a barrage of hell-burners, Earth joined their vast Empire. Swearing allegiance to our distant alien overlords wasn't the only requirement for survival. We also had to have something of value to trade, something that neighboring planets would pay their hard-earned credits to buy. As most of the local worlds were too civilized to have a proper army, the only valuable service Earth could provide came in the form of soldiers....

nice start to a story
Revisado: 11-27-23
very stupid leader management from the Varus mercenary group, it makes the author look stupid for poor storytelling. The MC kills a galactic alien, (the galactic is the judge for the first mission the MC is involved in), and the leader management doesn't give every soldier a detailed description of the galactic alien and tell them they are not to harm any galactic alien who looks similar? it makes no sense why command would keep these aliens identity a secret especially if harming them can lead to humanity's extinction.

Captain Jordan Dipshit
Revisado: 06-07-23
He creates his own paranoia, threatening and betraying everyone on the ship. He thinks everyone is betraying him when he's the one constantly stabbing everyone in the back, the story would've been so much better if he was smarter. I find it very hard to believe someone so stupid can become captain and somehow stay captain and not end up assassinated by any of the thirty people he's blackmailing with the safety of their family. Any of these people kill Captain Jordan Dipshit and everyone would 100% agrees to just sweep the event under the rug, literally nobody is loyal to him, he made an enemy out of everyone on his ship and nobody does anything to him? Either the breaking point for the crew on the ship is lower than rock bottom or this captain has the thickest plot armor on the planet.
