Editorial as much as biographical!
Revisado: 02-13-21
I have respect for Fauci and wanted to learn more about him, which I did. I am not a Trump supporter, but I got very tired of the Trump-bashing when listing to this audio book. If you can compensate for the obvious bias, and can tolerate the meandering focus on things other than Fauci himself, you will find out a bit more about him.

Living legend and lifelong activist Billie Jean King talks about what it takes to stand up and fight for equality, regardless of the circumstances. Fifty years ago, King and eight other female tennis players, known as the Original Nine, bravely put their careers and reputations on the line to fight for equal pay and equal footing for women’s tennis, with the indispensable help of promoter Gladys Heldman, the founder and publisher of World Tennis magazine, and the groundbreaking sponsorship of Joseph Cullman III, the CEO of the Philip Morris Company.

A great human being!
Revisado: 12-15-20
Billie Jean’s story is so inspiring! I am so indebted to her, as are women everywhere. Billie Jean, thanks for all you have done and continue to do for this great sport, for women, and for humanity! PS: I watched the Riggs/King match on the one tv in the dorm when I was in college.

Great listen for Beatles fans.

Where does Tune In rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I am not much of a literary critic, nor do I often write reviews, but I REALLY enjoyed this book. I was a huge Beatles fan "back in the day" so admit to a bias from the start. Great book full of information.

Historia
The cold, blustery Midwest winters don't exactly agree with Betsy Devonshire, but since moving to Excelsior, Minnestoa, she sure has met a lot of warm, friendly people. So she isn't too surprised when the town's most talented needleworkers volunteer to restore a damaged tapestry that was found in the basement of a local church. Betsy even offers to donate materials for the project, thinking that the free publicity will boost sales at her financially troubled needlecraft shop. But soon Betsy is afraid of losing more than her business....

Found narration unnatural and a bit cumbersome.
Revisado: 03-22-13
Did Susan Boyce do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
I have not listened to the entire book, but the characters are differentiated well. I did find, however, that the narration was cumbersome and difficult to listen to because much of the time the words were too carefully enunciated and the.pauses.between.words.were.too.long! I have found this to be an inconsistent problem since some sections of the book are fine and others are not. For this reason i have not been enjoying this book.
