Skip this one, bad narrator
Revisado: 12-30-21
This doesn't seem to have much substance to it, but I couldn't get past the narrator to finish. Overdone performance and the female characters sounds like whiny teenage valley girls.

Couldn't get through it!
Revisado: 07-22-14
I tried for about 2 hrs hoping it would get better, that something, anything would happen and it would pick up, but no such luck and I had to give up. It's was mainly inner dialogue and I don't remember the first one feeling so tedious. I cannot recommend.

For very young adults
Revisado: 09-21-13
I read the hype about it and ordered it as soon as it came out. This book did not hold my attention and I'll be returning it. I normally like YA but this was too young - maybe for a 14 year old. I will not be continuing the series.

Disappointing
Revisado: 09-21-13
This was a dissapointing fourth book - nothing really happens the first 2/3 of the book and was quite boring and listening to all of the mundane details and filler inner dialogue of Kylee was annoying - it was apparent the author was trying to stretch the series out and didn't have enough material. It was so bad that I'm not going to take a risk on the 5th book in case it's no better. The narrator does a good job, but couldn't save the boring book. I do not recommend it.

Narrator was the only good part
Revisado: 06-17-13
The narrator was great as usual, but I found the book almost boring and plotless - I finished it, but only barely. A very forgetable read, I won't be getting the others in the series.

Too Slow-Disappointed
Revisado: 06-17-13
I bought this after seeing all of the good reviews, but I was disappointed. It's a long book, and not much happens until the end. It's very drawn out and too slow for my tastes - it didn't hold my interest.

Historia
So many of us call ourselves animal lovers and worship our dogs and cats - but we could be using that love as a force for helping all animals. Beg is a battle cry on their behalf, as well as an inspirational, empowering guide to what we can do to help them. With the same no-nonsense tone that made Skinny Bitch a multi-million copy success, Beg galvanizes us to change our choices and actions, and to love animals in a radical new way.

Not what I thought...
Revisado: 05-17-13
The description is kind of vague, I thought this would be a nice animal story... It's not, it's just the author trying to educate people on the importance of spaying and rescuing vs buying, etc. Sure the premise is good, but for educated and responsible dog owners such as myself (and the author), it's nothing we don't know so it's quite boring. Please note I stopped at a little over an hour once she moved on to animal testing as I didn't care to hear more things I already knew about...

Historia
Meet Anita Thompson: she's young, she's lovely, she's clever, and she's a witch. A real one. Anita lives in two worlds: the modern world of supermarkets and sports cars, radio and rock-and-roll, where she is a thoroughly modern girl with a thoroughly modern interest in boys and fast living and her own independence. But she also lives in the ancient and rustic world of traditions, cauldrons, and familiars.

I suffered through a few chapters and then returned it. It's very strange - like an old fashioned book of children's short stories without any sort of character development...

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Mixed Feelings
Revisado: 09-03-12
First of all, the narrator reads very fast, I had to change the audiobook setting on my ipod to slow - it made the voices a little distorted, but at least the rhythm was more normal then.
The book was original and grabbed my interest toward the very end, but I don't know if it was worth it because of how long it took to even start to get to the interesting part, even then, events unfolded very slowly.
