If you know that the more people that dies levels the demon up, what is the need for an army with anyone lesser than an Elite or a diamond rank? Dragging out this prime evil demon battle and killing powerful people was an eye roller for me.

While I enjoyed listening to this work, the adventures were less interesting. This is not a true life event and it needed some spice. Make Daniel and his team more interesting. They need to win after the hardship.

I would say that Bruce Sentar is a great story teller. Making Isaac the storyteller, there were no distractions from his abilities.
The story is balanced and the way Bruce tells the story, you know that it is coming and still be surprised when it comes.
I love the way he gave Isaac these abilities without making him go through unnecessary suffering like most authors do. Like, most of us read these books to escape the reality of our daily lives and having someone that achieved it all by fate and hardwork is satisfying.
I can't wait for the next one.
