This is the first of about ten books I’ve read from these authors that disappointed me. It just felt like a limited effort. I use AI’s a lot. The way it was written seemed like it was an AI assisted writing process. Probably not. But I loved all the others from them. So I’m just surprised.

Among the greatest some stand taller still. This audiobook towers over others. Simply this may be my favorite audiobook of all time.
I’m a voracious reader and listener of audiobooks. I rarely review books as I do not consider myself any form of literary expert. However in this case I feel compelled to make a statement.
Between the completing storyline, exemplary characters and the superb writing, I believe this to be among the finest books written this century. Add the extraordinary narration, and the Boys in the Boat should be required reading for all lovers of timeless stories of those who overcome and do so with humility.

It’s my second time through this series & I love it even more than the first time.
It’s funny, has great characters and I’m realizing just how good the terrific character development is. I’d somewhat missed the depth of that before.
It’s just great story telling.
Truly one of my favorites!
