Historia
No electricity, no family, no connection to the outside world. For eight years, Cooper and his young daughter, Finch, have lived in isolation in a remote cabin in the northern Appalachian woods. And that's exactly the way Cooper wants it, because he's got a lot to hide. Finch has been raised on the books filling the cabin’s shelves and the beautiful but brutal code of life in the wilderness. But she’s starting to push back against the sheltered life Cooper has created for her - and he’s still haunted by the painful truth of what it took to get them there.

Excellent and not what I expected.

This was an excellent story and has a surprising ending. It has mystery in a non traditional way and heart warming at the end.

Historia
On Dec. 4, 1881 the Los Angeles Times published its very first edition. And while the paper ran into severe financial trouble just a year after its founding, it nevertheless survived and over its 138 year lifespan has been at the forefront of some monumental stories in American history. But, the news industry today is vastly different and extremely divisive. So how did we get here? The LA Times' Steve Padilla has worked at the paper for 32 years and he joins us to look back at the roots of the journalism industry and newspapers and how we go to where we are today.

An interesting look at American History!
Revisado: 07-11-21
This is an awesome podcast! All sides of the story are told where possible. It explains history with the art of storytelling and narration. It is well done and I bam enjoying listening from the backlist until I get to the current episodes. The interviews at the end of each series are informative and enjoyable as well.

Awesome Book!!!
Revisado: 08-11-20
This book is wonderful. Jerri is a wonderful story teller. She really built up the characters and made them real and made me like and care about some and hate others. I didn’t want to stop listening. I can’t wait for the next one in the series. Please don’t stop creating more Jerri.

Brilliant designer Miko Jin has spent most of her life falling in love over and over again...with the men she finds in the pages of her favorite novels. When Miko meets Liam Ashton, it’s love at first sight. At least, for her. Sure, the two of them are polar opposites, and yes, he seems to be dating someone new each week.

Wonderful conclusion!!!
Revisado: 01-26-19
This was the last of a great series of stories. Rachel Hollis did a super job with her stories. I listened non stop and am going to listen again. There are some great bits of life to learn from the story. I love each girl for who they are. She did a great job relating each girl’s personal perspective. Well done. I suggest buying all three so you don’t have to wait to start the next story.
I hope you write more fiction Rachel. I will definitely buy it as a book or an Audio Book.
Well done. 🙌❤️

Revisado: 01-21-19
This was a wonderful story that I listened to all the way through I got some clothes folded and put away and a bunch of other household tasks done while listening today. It was well written and well performed Rachel! I am a fan of your podcast and non fiction book and now I am also a fan of your fiction books. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series.

Historia
Power is changing. Private corner offices and management by decree are out, as is unquestioned trust in the government and media. These former pillars of traditional power have been replaced by networks of informed citizens who collectively wield more power over their personal lives, employers, and worlds than ever before. So how do you navigate this new landscape and come out on top? Adam Grant, Wharton organizational psychologist, went to the World Economic Forum in Davos, the epicenter of power, and sat down with thought leaders from around the world, to find out.

Another great book in the series.
Revisado: 03-28-17
Love the development of each character in the series. The acting is wonderful with each character clearly different in sound and personality through out the book and the series. It is hard to stop listening. And I feel a part of their community. I wonder if Hannah will be able to choose from her two suiters. I like them both for her. Can't wait to start the next story.
