This was a DNF for me because of narrator.
First I loved the storyline and the book, I’ll finish reading it on my kindle however, the narrators matter. The male narrator seems rushed and over exaggerated for every single word. If he would talk like a normal person it might not be that bad. Not every single book he narrates has to be so EXTRA!!! My personal opinion DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS a BOOK. JUST READ IT.

The only thing i have an issue with is the narrative. I personally don’t think this narrator is good at romance books. I don’t usually listen to one’s that she narrates for this reason but I wanted to listen to this while I worked. As far as the author, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her books. She is an amazing author.

This is a DNF for me

First let me say this is my first ever DNF book by this author. She’s amazing. I loved the narrators for this book although I feel like Andi Arndt might have been better but Maxine was still amazing. This story line is not it for me. I just couldn’t get into it. It was long and drawn out and I just couldn’t finish it. The story line is good it’s just something about it I couldn’t get into it.

Wanted to love it

I wanted to love this book so much. The story line is a great. I love the story. I also love the male narrator sound like pure heaven for me. The one thing that I’m not loving is the female character even the narrator. The female character is just tooo whiny for me, good lord any girl that age that whines like a 3 year old is just not appealing. The female narrator voice is just not it ugh. Words can’t explain how much her voice grated on my nerves during this whole book.

Did I mention HUGE? He's instant trouble the second he checks into our lodge and my overprotective grandpa hires him. Then I catch him staring with that knowing ache in his eyes. I forget what trouble even means. He also needs a nanny. Sold.

First: The narrator are decent. The male narrator is the better of the two. Still could of chosen different narrators. Secondly: the story is a good story but it is drawn out ENTIRELY too long. Probably could of done without as much of the monologue as it does get annoying after a bit. Third and most important: don’t count out this author because of one book. She is a phenomenal author however this was not her best work.
