Historia
Waking up in a theme-park world run amok was a bit rough. But leveling up to be an epic hero, seizing a mountain of treasure, and romancing a bevy of beauties isn't too bad. My name is Danny Abbott. I went to bed thinking I had just another day at the office waiting for me. Instead, I find myself in Dungeon World, a planet-wide RPG-themed amusement park. The monsters are real, the perils are deadly, and the people in charge are long since gone.

Refreshing and Fun
Revisado: 09-30-22
I really loved the premise and execution of this book. It's a fresh take that is lighthearted while remaining compelling. The unique world and character class made me chuckle more than once, but I had no trouble remaining immersed in the story. The narrators also did an excellent job of bringing the characters to life. Highly recommend it on all fronts and can't wait for more.

His glorious day became ruined when a bomber sent him through an unformed portal connection. Lost to eternity and stuck in the void, a happenstance encounter allows him to relocate to the fantasy world of Dorbin. The challenges for Frank will be steep, the learning curve arduous, and the chances of going home slim to none.

Delectably Dark
Revisado: 12-20-21
A lot of books claim to be dark fantasy but this one actually delivers a gritty yet fun experience. Chad Opo pulls no punches on creating a brutal fantasy world for us to enjoy, but if you're faint of heart, this one isn't for you. If you like Joe Abercrombie's work, then this is probably right up your alley. The MC has been traumatized into being fairly heartless, but he's not exactly evil, just a bit narcissistic. I enjoyed the MC being morally uninhibited by his Earth sensibilities when thrust into the brutal setting in which he finds himself. It's rare to find this in LitRPG Isikai and even rarer to find it done so well.
Some reviewers have accused this of being a smutty harem book, it definitely isn't. The MC doesn't really care about conventional relationships, but this is a far cry from harem smut. Any scene that could be written as sexually indulgent is fade-do-black and the cast isn't composed of love interests. All the characters are grounded and have their own motivations and perspectives.
The plot doesn't drag despite the book's very satisfying length. The action is well written and fast-paced. The politics are well thought out and robust. It's just a fantastic if dark, adventure. The MC is largely unable to fight his own battles due to a lingering injury and relies on cunning to win the day, which is super refreshing in a genre that is dominated by overpowered morons.
Overall, I can't recommend the book highly enough.

Historia
Siege the castle? Not my style. Save the world? Never gonna happen. Create a bestiary business with a group of beautiful yet contrasting women? Now that’s more like it! One minute I’m in a tree, pointing my camera at a tiger, the next I’m on my back in a medieval fantasy world, while a skittish blonde hovers over me, hoping I’m not dead. I’ve never felt more alive. Because although the dutiful smith’s assistant warns me away from the town’s sinful witch, I still have to go. The witch has the only bestiary book in town, and that’s my one hope of a comfortable life.

I really love the premis of this book. It ended up being a spicy fun story. If you're a fan oc Chad mc's who use charisma and questionable wit to win, then give this one a shot.

Historia
When Theodore visited the new animatronic strip club in town, he didn't expect the elves the facility was famous for to be actual flesh-and-blood elves. And he definitely didn't expect to find an inter-dimensional phone booth tucked away in the back room. But find them he did, and before he knew it he'd been sent to a strange and exotic land. Among The Ten Thousand Worlds, power is free for any with the will and talent to take it. Here, elves practice immortal cultivation, gathering power to increase their personal strength and pursue eternal life.

Ahead of it's Time.
Revisado: 11-19-21
I read this a long time ago when I first discovered the HaremLit and LitRPG genres. I decided to listen to it recently and am amazed by all the things that he introduced to the genre. It's a super fun book that includes cultivation and LitRPG elements. I was a little sad that it's not dual narrated, but the single narrator did a fairly good job with the extensive cast. The book is even better than I remember it being. I highly recommend giving it a shot.

Very Cool!
Revisado: 11-18-21
I listened to the first iteration of this book and had been meaning to relisten. It was a welcome surprise to see it had been re-released with duo narration. The story builds a little slowly in the beginning but becomes one of thd best 'alien invasion/post apocalypse' harem books out there. The basebuilding and 'game mechanics' are very satisfying. Fight and spice scenes are well done. New narration team rocks. If you're on the fence, go ahead and buy, it's honestly an awesome ride.

With the object of his most recent quest stolen out from under him, Rorke has been left for dead in the treacherous Nightlands: a place hateful to all surface-dwellers, full of things the human - even the elfin - eye has never seen. Gray-faced berich dwarves, frightful half-spider misshapens - and, of course, the sensual and dark-complexioned durrow elves, a race of power-hungry women who live in service to the goddess Roserpine.

Such a unique story!
Revisado: 11-13-21
It's easy to get distracted by the compelling adult scenes and not notice the complex subversion of the MC's and supporting characters moral values. Two scions of opposing religions vieing to corrupt each other through sex and power games is a surprisingly compelling plot that I don't believe I've ever seen before.
If you can't accept a MC that is willing to be dominated for any reason, this book isn't for you.
If you're still reading, by all means buy this book!
It's a delightfully dark and extremely sexy take on 'drow' society and illustrates the defilement of a 'good' man in loving detail. Highly recommend for anyone who can deal with a less dominant MC! Even if that isn't you cup of tea, check it out... you might surprise yourself.
Instant guilty pleasure for me!
Narration is outstanding.

In a world where magic is real, Alex is about to learn that being shot in the head was only the beginning. God has given him a choice: to take the life of the person meant to die that day and forget who he was, or to keep being Alex and transition to a world of magic where God would give him the tools to survive. Alex, an avid fan of fantasy, chooses the latter and is thrown through a black portal into a world he never could have imagined.

Familiar but Awesome.
Revisado: 09-17-21
This book covers some fairly familiar ground but has enough of its own spin, and generally excellent writing, that it stands out from the pack. The magic system is really well thought out, and the mc isn't a doofus.
The supporting cast is realistic and has some surprises. Overall, this book is what you think it is, but better. I highly recommend it.

A new take
Revisado: 08-31-21
This is a promising start to a new haremlit universe. The characters are fun and I can't wait until they are a bit more fleshed out. The spice is well done and the story is unique.
The narration is flawless as expected from these titans of narration. They really breathed life into the characters.
Overall a solid first entry into the genre.

Fun in a deadly game for all the marbles
Revisado: 05-26-21
This is a great litrpg harem fantasy. The MC is relatable and makes fairly wise choices, even going so far as to give overall command of his game(trying to avoid spoilers here) over to a teammate so that he can focus on what he's good at while his teammate excells at the macro level.
The harem building is slow, which I appreciate. It is annoying when the harem grows too fast for the members to have personality. Each character becomes a fully realized person to the reader.
The plot has a few pleasant twists and I was never pulled out of the story by glaring potholes or inconsistencies.
The game is very well thought out. There are minimal Stat breakdowns that fit into the flow of the story. Honestly, I wish there was a computer game that mirrored the one in the book. The closest thing I can think of is Dwarf Fortress ant that's only marginally similar.
The narration is top notch as expected from this duo. They both have great range and place vocal expression well.
Overall this is a great series for a fantastic value.
