Historia
Just when Baron Minalan the Spellmonger figured out there was a slim chance to restore his mind-shattered wife Alya (if he's willing to journey to the undercaverns of Olum Seheri, the lair of Korbal the Necromancer), things start to go awry: not only does Prince Tavard, his unloved liege lord, decide to conduct an official state visit to Sevendor on pilgrimage to the Everfire on the Briga's feast day, but a mysterious seamage appears at his door with an intriguing offer from the Sea Folk who rule Callidore: They want to buy snowstone. An entire mountain of it.

Not as great as some of the previous books
Revisado: 11-27-20
I was more entertained by previous titles, not sure what but this book lacked something. Maybe because Rudaral and Tindle were not present but the funny aspect wasn't there. Hoping the next is better.

Reader or sound guy was awefull!!
Revisado: 04-25-18
Frequently there were words cut out or said so softly you could not hear it. So you hear something like "Brenna let of a long sigh of ef" when it should be "reliefe" sometimes multiple words are cut out but less frequent the the former.

Starting to feel like a money grab....
Revisado: 01-08-18
I enjoyed the first and second books this feels like a money grab. Especially since the books seem to get shorter and shorter. I stopped listening to The Sword of Truth series for this and a few other reasons.

Story was great, narration was terrible.
Revisado: 12-16-17
I really enjoyed the story but the narrator spoke in a tone that sounded like he was constantly in a child like state of awe and wonder. It drove me nuts and many times I needed to take a break from listening to it. Really enjoyed the story but there was a little too much sadism in my opinion.

Couldn't finish the book.
Revisado: 07-19-17
I really tried but a lot of of the book is just useless information that seems to have no real effect on the story. The only excitement is a couple brief fights in the beginning and then just endless droning about parallel timelines to nausia. Add on all the abriviations for every new gadget, job title, function, occurance etc etc. It felt like I was reading filler a lot. I did however have high expectations as Neil Stepherson is a favorite of mine. In short it ended up feeling more like work to get through the rest of it.

boring useless details until the last chapters
Revisado: 02-14-17
I almost stopped listening to this audio book several times but didn't want to throw away my purchase. 99% of this book is unneeded details and fluff. the only action and excitement is the last 5 minutes of the book. I will not be following this series anymore
