I got lost in this book…. I felt like I was actually sailing with the author. I was actually exploring magical places, eating exquisite food, feeling the waves moving, seeing the dolphins. I love how the author uses life experiences such as love and loss, weaving it all in with the sailing experience. I love nature and hearing about the beauty on the journey. As a non sailor I’ve got to say, I can now see how sailing would be an amazing way to see the world. Highly recommend this book

Her story gave me hope

Sometimes it’s easy to think that ministers and people who are on the stage have it all together and so do their families. After reading her book, I now know this is not only not true, but also ridiculous. It gives me hope to see and know and understand how messed up we all can be and yet God still uses us to help inspire and teach others. Thank you for being real Beth. Thank you for sharing. I know how hard that must’ve been. And thank you to your family also.

An amazing book about healing, resilience and hope!

This book touched me on so many levels, which was a surprise to me. I thought I was reading a book about mold and instead I learned about self love, healing, resilience and so much more. It touched me deeply in surprising ways.

Very accurate depiction of an interrupted life

My husband went through the same thing at 45 years old and as a caregiver I enjoyed reading your book because I got to hear from you how all of this felt. I saw from the outside and was deeply affected by our journey but gained new perspective! I also gained some valuable nuggets for living through your road trip and your fight back to life. A great love story on a lot of different levels

This book didn’t disappoint, as usual! I kept trying to figure out the “twist” the whole way through and never could. It speaks about love and loyalty on many different levels. My heart broke for what Paige had to go through.

I loved all of the authors tips for parenting, adult children, and being an awesome grandparents. I love the manner in which he laid out his ideas: full of warms, caring, encouragement and love. This is one of those books that I know I’ll have to read read often for reminders.
