amazing narration
Revisado: 12-12-23
this has been an amazing listen. I have never felt so immersed in the narration as I was with this. There were times where I felt I was listening to a play or a movie as I felt it more acted that just narrated. so good.

time difference
Revisado: 11-20-23
not sure why but it is listed as being a 14hr 7m audio book but once I bought it and started it, the time went to 12 hr and 50m. it's supposed to be unabridged so not sure why there is less time than what is listed online.

annoying voice choice for Daenerys
Revisado: 11-17-23
the narrator was great considering hiw many different people he had to give a voice to. I just didn't care for his choice for Daenerys. I think it just didn't sound right for the "mother or dragons"

narration was great but
Revisado: 07-05-23
The narration was great but overall I was disappointed with this book. I love Patricia Cornwell but something about this book didn't feel like her. The short chapters and almost round about why the story is told feels like someone else wrote this. it felt scattered and unorganized, not like her other novels.

Love the book but not the sound effects
Revisado: 08-19-21
First off, I love the book and the readers and am glad I got this version (the other option was only 7 hours so don't know how much maybe have been cut out of this). Also love that they had a female do the female voices (it's always hard to listen a man try and sound like a women and have it come off properly). The one thing I did NOT like about this audio book was the sound effects that went along with it at times. I did not care for the intense dramatic music, sound of gun shots or bombs exploding. it made it very hard to focus on what was being said by the narrators.

Okay so the story itself is amazing, however I did not care for the reader. The constant random breaks in the reading drive me crazy. It would have made since if she took long breaks in between chapters or events, but sometimes it was in the middle of conversations.
