Historia
The trauma that our world experienced in recent years—as result of both the pandemic and societal tensions that threaten to overwhelm us—has been unprecedented and is not going away anytime soon. It is clear that existing political and economic systems are not enough to bring the change that the world needs. In this book, Rainn Wilson explores the possibility and hope for a spiritual revolution, a “Soul Boom” in order to address today’s greatest issues—mental health, racism and sexism, climate change, and economic injustice.

Incredible!
Revisado: 05-31-24
Every human on the face of the Earth needs to read this! It isn’t about what we don’t have in common your country, color of your skin or your religion is about what connects each and everyone of us. So everyone can be truly happy and at peace. Also I could listen to Rainn’s voice all day. What could be an extremely heavy subject he kept light funny and real💜☀️

Historia
“Can I kiss you?” It was two months before the world premiere of Juno, and Elliot Page was in his first ever queer bar. The hot summer air hung heavy around him as he looked at her. And then it happened. In front of everyone. A previously unfathomable experience. Here he was on the precipice of discovering himself as a queer person, as a trans person. Getting closer to his desires, his dreams, himself, without the repression he’d carried for so long. But for Elliot, two steps forward had always come with one step back.

I didn’t know much about Sharon Gless except I’ve seen her in Burn Notice and loved her and seen her in a tv interview about this book and she was hilarious. This was a hilarious and heart hitting story.

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Revisado: 09-16-22
This is a wonderful book, I won’t give spoilers but if you love lovable characters and animals and mysteries this is the book for you. The narrator’s are wonderful. The narrator for Marcellus is perfection. It’s like you can hear his eye roll through his voice.

Perfect for romance novel lovers
Revisado: 06-15-21
Some of the other reviews seem a little angry toward this book. If you aren’t a fan of romance novels then move on. I’ve listened to a lot of romance here on Audible and this was a good one, story good not the most in-depth story and characters but it was good and the narrator’s were great. It’s a good read. I just got this book so I didn’t have to wait years before the second one came out so I will be listening to that next. One of the reviews was super mad they had to wait that long. I would of been too which is why I usually wait on the first in a Series until at least one other book has come out in that series but that’s because I like series and building stories and characters without starting up a different series, I love reading the entire series all the way through.

Love love loved this entire Series!
Revisado: 04-08-21
I started to listen to this book because I could get so many books for one credit. Never read anything from this author before and This is definitely not my usual kind of book. I’m really not into “monsters” and given the fact I started listening to this during a world wide pandemic gave me pause. But the writing and the incredible narration is so worth dealing with some creep factor. I found it heartfelt and action packed with real adults during a messed up situation and with some humor. There’s always that one person that says or does something messed up to ease the tension. I extremely recommend everyone to read this book it’s freaking fantastic! I am going to start the next part of this story Dark Age. After I’m done with those I will be listening to more from this author and this narrator because he was freaking awesome too!

Revisado: 03-02-21
I love Kristen Ashley’s writing. Great real life adult read. As amazing as I find Ashley’s work and the other narrators were amazing I just can’t get enough of John Hartleys voice! He has the sexiest male voice I’ve heard so far. Even with his extremely manly hot af voice he can narrate ladies voices well too. I seriously can’t wait for the next in this series!

I very much enjoyed this book! Even better then the first. This narrator was very good you could actually tell the difference between characters. It’s even had some very funny parts to it and I love that along with the mystery. I hope there is another in this series to come soon. If not it does end in a good place.
