Clearly a different writer

I kept thinking, this just doesn't sound like reacher... I've read and listened to the entire series and this one just felt clunky. I was excited to hear the series would continue beyond Lee Childs' stepping back/retiring (?), but this book missed the mark. Scott Brick is amazing, hands down, but even his performance couldn't keep me from questioning who this new Reacher character was.
Had this been a totally different lead character, not Reacher, I may have written a different review.

Tooooo overly exaggerated sex scenes

I liked the book/author, but the made up sex scenes (clearly done over the top for the fiction novel within the story) were too much and not funny. I was thankful my listening app has the ability to jump 30 seconds at a time. I might listen to the next in the series if I knew the overt bedroom humor was removed.
