The Hate U Give

I found this book to be wonderful and sent/recommended audible copies to several teens and parents/grandparents of teens. Tragically the subject matter is too familiar. I found the story to be compelling and insightful. The final 2 chapters brought the book title home for me.

Although we can't know for certain how the Mark will be applied, I love the explanation of the process. I read the entire Left Behind series years ago, but after hearing the audiobook of The Mark, I plan to purchase the others again.

Would you consider the audio edition of Hungry for God to be better than the print version?

I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. I have read other books by Margaret Feinberg and really appreciated hearing her read this book.

What did you like best about this story?

Much of what was said was not just her own testimony or experience, but mirrored my experiences with God as well. God echos and His call to us resonates. As we learn to "hear" Him, we begin to understand His will for our lives. His will, His purpose, His way.

What does Margaret Feinberg bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Intonation and passion.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were ah ha moments, but I knew from the first sentence that it was a book that I would listen to over and over again... and I have.

Any additional comments?

Margaret allows herself to be used by God in incredible ways. God's Word illuminates and purges us. It takes us to higher heights and each book that I read (or hear) reminds me of God's amazing love for me. Thank you for allowing God to pour into you, continue to pour in to us. God Bless you!

Can't really say.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I found many of the stories amusing and found myself chuckling at the outcome.

I love these stories as they take me back to my childhood. I love the fact that I can plug my IPhone in while I am driving and listen to the stories on my way to/from work each day. Helps to mellow me out on the drive.
