overall good except for volume issues.

super interesting world and I'm liking the story so far. but the audio is killing me. one of the men is described as a quiet listener and every time he talks it's just a whisper. I understand that in theory, but you don't need to actually whisper voice lines. I keep having to juggle my volume knob every time he talks, and then the next person that talks blows my ears out.

A good performance does make a book good

Slight Spoilers: I really like the idea, but the MC totally annoys me. He complains about no one being a team player when he is the biggest contribution hog of all. He never explains ANYTHING to ANYONE about what is happening and how they can maximize their gains, and then completely dismisses people as "useless" for doing the EXACT same thing he does, trying to monopolize as much as he can. The reader of course has the meta-knowledge to realize he's probably right to act like he does, but none of the other people could possibly know. With everything being based on contribution % anyone teamed with the MC in the first raids is pretty much gonna die, either from the raid they share with the MC, or because the MC hogged most of the gains so they will be under-leveled and under-geared for future raids.

Full disclosure I received a code for this from the author. Having said that this was really good. the audio can be a little iffy in some places, but overall this was a pleasant experience in sci-fi litrpg.

In a world full of super powers, Felix has a pretty crappy one. He has the ability to modify any item he owns. To upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper. Almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. With that in mind, Felix settled into a normal life. A normal job. His entire world changes when the city he lives in is taken over by a super villain. Becoming a country of one city. A city state.

Stat reads got lengthy at times, but were relatively few and far between. Only once in the whole book did I think "just get on with it already" which I find happens all too often usually in this genre.
