This was my first Narration with Daryl Mayfield. And, I was in awe. He has an incredible deep sexy voice. I was amazed at his ability to switch to a female character with perfection.

The Narration was a split for me... 5 stars for Jason Clarke and 2 stars for Emma Wider

Jason Clarke's voice is deep, sexy, and fabulous. Of course Jason did the male voice perfectly, and he also did an excellent job with the females.

Emma Wilder had a sing-song voice that grated on me. It was like finger nails on a chalk board. When it came to the female chapters I'd speed up the narration, then put it slower when the male parts came. The Epilogue would have been absolutely perfect if it had been done by Jason Clarke. Oh well, this story will definitely be a Re-read for me in the future without the Audible Or maybe I'll just listen to Shepherd...

Review intended to praise the Michael Ferraiuolo

I'm doing this review here on Audible simply to praise Michael Ferraiuolo for his narration. He was fabulous... He did an excellent rendition for all the book characters both male and female. And of course his scottish accent was perfect. WHEN he sang for Erik I was just delighted...

My heart hurt for this young man

Here I will only review the narration. I fell hard for Jacob Morgan. I've added "Jacob Morgan" to my favorite narrator list.

Jacob Morgan has a deep sexy voice and when he did Lance's Scottish it was okay. Unfortunately, he keep forgetting it...
His rendition of Lance would have been okay if he had only remembered to use the Scottish accent for Lance all the time. I guess I understand not having the accent when he was given narrative, but the dialogue should have been Scottish. Rose Dioro did a great job shifting back and forth between Poppy and Lance, never forgetting his accent.

So much more than an Alien story.

This read was so much more than an Alien story. The lottery and chase was pretty intense. The story touched on so many emotions that I kept forgetting I was reading an Alien story. I found myself clinging to every word. I’d back up to re-read and re-listen over and over again.

When I figured the Stockholm Syndrome would be taking over it made me angry. I knew there would be a happily ever after and that made me angry. And, Varian I hated him and loved him and that made me even angrier. By the end I was also a victim because I fell in love with the big horned anti-hero too.
(Am I the only Alien Abduction fan that wishes these authors would STOP putting Horns on the Big Hunky Aliens?)

I’ve enjoyed Alien Abduction books before, but mostly because they made me laugh. This love story gave me all kinds of emotional feels. I wasn’t expecting that from a Syfy Alien story.

So, there were no grins or giggles for me with this Alien Tale just intense reactions to the events. But, I loved every word of it.

First time for a DNF because of Narrator

This book was a free read on Amazon. The audible was only $1.99. This is the first time for me that the Narrator was so bad I couldn't stand to listen to it anymore. I may read this book without the audible so I can give a book review on Amazon and Goodreads. I will never purchase a book narrated by Natasha Soudek again.

Very Disappointed

I can't believe I'm saying this, but this story was so disappointing for so many reasons. Even Tavia Gilbert's excellent performance couldn't save it for me. Perhaps the story failed because of the personal struggles the author was going through while she was trying to finish this story. And, for that I feel very sad that I thought the story failed. In my opinion, none of the characters matched themselves from the previous books. And, with this being an introduction for the next release, it failed to live up to Ian's character. It wasn't until Ian's last scene did I see a hint of the old Ian. :-(

Excellent Story Excellent Narration

Another sweet romantic comedy. Even though I have a complaint about this authors writing, I must state the fact that I thoroughly enjoyed this story. For me, the author went a little too heavy on Maggie's inner voice narrative. Yes, it was funny, but the head chatter was over the top. It was the one thing that kept me thinking that this funny story should be a 4 star and not a 5 star rating.

When I got to about 36%, I was thinking Ry's big lie is about to crumble. Then, I began to wonder with so much story left to the book, how is it going to play out. Well, the deception went on and on. Making this the first romantic tale where, for me, the male character was TSTL. At one point I was hoping Jack and Sarah would setup an intervention, because really both these kids were utterly DUMB.

Who would have guessed I would have felt emotional love angst in this romantic comedy. When I got to 88%, silly me, it was like a suspense/thriller where you’re about to find out who’s going to get killed. Geez, I knew it was coming and I still got antsy.

For this story I must mention the audio. The female narrator actually helped me with Maggie's internal head chatter. Her voice presentation made most of it funny. If it hadn't been for the female narrator, there is no doubt this would have been a 4 star read for me. Well, I thought the male narrator was going to be Sebastian York. Nope, it was Jeremy York. And, Mr. York really made Ry sound like one big hunky man.

Best line in a scene..... "I have to figure out a way to solve the fact that I’ve done something I never imagined was possible. I’ve cock blocked myself."

“If it is written, so it shall be!” …. This story had such a wonderful happily ever after it totally deserves a 5 star rating. Excellent Read

Great Story Okay Narration

I can't express enough how happy I am that I didn’t hate this read. Yes, it did have a whole lot of KA's new long winded story telling. But, it was like watching a very detailed, very developed falling in love, love story. I enjoyed every long drawn out minute of it because I was enjoying the fabulous journey of discovery.

I guess I should mention the narrators, who I thought did an okay performance. I always enjoy it more when there are both male and female narrators for the couple.

I did love how KA tied up all the loose ends of the story. But, I did have an issue. And, perhaps it’s because all I’ve been doing is beta reading and that has warped me as a reader, but as far as I’m concerned the story had two big plot holes. And, that left me feeling disappointed. Nonetheless, Four Stars for a Great Read.
