Historia
Mercenary Kate Daniels knows all too well that magic in post-Shift Atlanta is a dangerous business. But nothing she's faced could have prepared her for this.... Kate and the former Beast Lord Curran Lennart are finally making their relationship official. But there are some steep obstacles standing in the way of their walk to the altar.... Kate's father, Roland, has kidnapped the demigod Saiman and is slowly bleeding him dry in his never-ending bid for power.

big fan
Revisado: 10-29-16
I have been listening to all of these books. Renee Raudman does an excellent job with her performance of all the characters. She is consistent with their voices.
The story line is always transporting . I have often found myself sitting in my car for an extra 15 minutes. Or going to bed much later because I needed to hear the end of a chapter.
There are very fun stories.

Historia
Barcelona, 1945: Just after the war, a great world city lies in shadow, nursing its wounds, and a boy named Daniel awakes on his 11th birthday to find that he can no longer remember his mother's face. To console his only child, Daniel's widowed father, an antiquarian book dealer, initiates him into the secret of the Cemetery of Forgotten Books, a library tended by Barcelona's guild of rare-book dealers as a repository for books forgotten by the world, waiting for someone who will care about them again.

Needless music
Revisado: 09-28-16
The story is already a very melodramatic one, so the addition of the music during all of the"tense" and “poignant“ parts simply made me roll my eyes. Some memorable characters. A few good plot twists along with a few predictable ones.

Historia
Darrow would have lived in peace, but his enemies brought him war. The Gold overlords demanded his obedience, hanged his wife, and enslaved his people. But Darrow is determined to fight back. Risking everything to transform himself and breach Gold society, Darrow has battled to survive the cutthroat rivalries that breed Society's mightiest warriors, climbed the ranks, and waited patiently to unleash the revolution that will tear the hierarchy apart from within.

I am so sad it's over.
Revisado: 04-10-16
So many times while listening to this in my car, I found myself crying out when a favorite character faltered. I shouted and pumped my fist in victory when there was an unexpected triumph. I had to remind myself not to wince while behind the wheel and listening to a suspenseful scene. Tim Gerard Reynolds' performance was outstanding. This trilogy has become part of my dreams at night . I know I will listen to it again.

Cassandra Campbell does an outstanding job with her performance. I was very entertained by the story and how everything fit together.
