Historia
In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history. Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

Interesting Story
Revisado: 04-07-25
Great narrator. I think she actually sounded pretty close to how Britney sounded in my mind.
Interesting history. I knew the earlier part of her stardom but didn’t know what happened to her. Divorce is terrible, with kids it’s heinous, especially when you are alienated. This story has explained a lot.
Perfect length book.

So Many Twists & Turns
Revisado: 04-02-25
First book I’ve listened to of this nature and it was so well written and narrated! Their choice of 3 narrators for each character made transitions seamless plus a lot more depth with their accents. It was believable. This author really knows how to write. Uses explanatory words that have more meaning, show emotion, and are on a different level that make you not want to stop listening. This is well over 5 stars… I give it a 10!
I will definitely choose more books by this author and these narrators. I’ve had to stop books because they were terribly narrated. Thrilled this one was exceptional.

Time Traveler x3
Revisado: 03-30-25
I liked the historical aspects drawing in 3 major US war moments. I wanted to see how this book would change from the first one in the series. I honestly thought the author would bring more intertwining from the first book in but she didn’t. Another girl in different eras with the premise of finding a love and staying in that century.

Time Travelers Delight
Revisado: 03-23-25
I really enjoyed the story going back and forth between different years and the history in each period. The love story and how events may change the outcome. We may not see why circumstances happen to us and how those events help us or come again in the future.
After about 2 hours of listening to the narrator, she started warming up on me. Kinda high pics he’d but I guess it is relevant to the character’s age. Not my favorite performance, but it isn’t a deal breaker. You can tell that sometimes she gets caught up in the words and they aren’t spoken as freely.

This true story of an ex-Marine who fought crime as an undercover cop, a narcotics agent, and finally a federal prosecutor spans a decade of crime fighting and narrow escapes. Terrible Narrator
Revisado: 03-09-25
I’m sure this book would be so much better if you read on your own. The narrator ruined it for me. Not entertaining, bad accents, very monotone, and didn’t feel believable in drug deal settings because he read it but didn’t act it out.
I love the book cover and that drew me in. Do yourself a favor and read it yourself because you will be disappointed in the quality and want it to end sooner.

Great performance. I love how the author brings in so many facts but puts it in a first person storyline. Incredible lady sniper who proved she could do it and has gained respect from all. A very interesting listen.

Historia
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.

Captivating, nice twist
Revisado: 02-26-25
I expected the culprit to be one person until the end when it made sense. Nice to have two narrators. Not a thriller or a true suspense, just a nice twist of who-dun-it.

Historia
If you don't plan on working hard all your life... this book is for you. If you're ready to retire (or want to retire early enough to enjoy your retirement years) you can learn from Robert's story of how he and his wife Kim started with nothing and "retired" - financially free - in less than 10 years. This book makes the case for how a context shift in the way we think about money and investing allows us to see opportunities others miss and create the life you deserve.

Could not stand the narrator
Revisado: 02-14-25
The way the sentences were broken up was hard to listen to. Appeared to be spoken like a second language learner. Very monotone. If I read it, I think I would have liked more. I think I was expecting more “how to” scenarios but the changing your mind set was the prevalent point.
