Historia
On a quiet seafront in the middle of the afternoon the sun sets, the clouds part and something like a pale, elongated human figure appears on the horizon. For Maria, watching from the beach, it’s proof that she should never have dared to return. Five years earlier, her life shattered by the arrival of the Stone Man, she’d fled the country. But now she can’t escape: suddenly, there are news reports of ‘Empty Men’ materialising all around the coast, and the roads are gridlocked. The Empty Men are killers, and they’re heading inland.

I was afraid this wouldn’t live up to the first book, but it exceeded all expectations! Can’t wait to read the next Luke Smitherd masterpiece. This is a must read, especially if you’ve read The Stone Man.

Historia
From the author of the international best seller The Stone Man, short-listed for Audible UK's Book of the Year Award 2015. Here are the rules. Method: you can't use a gun. You can't use explosives. You can't use poison. It has to be up close and personal. You don't have to worry about leaving evidence; that will be taken care of. Victim: no one suicidal. No one over the age of 65. No one with a terminal illness. Choose your method. Choose your victim.

Edge of my seat from the first few minutes!
Revisado: 12-06-16
What did you love best about Kill Someone?
Another Luke Smitherd classic. Frightening, intense, and - as ever - very, very thought provoking. I could not stop listening. Highly recommended!
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes, so realistic and puts you right in the heart of the main character's dilemma.
Which scene was your favorite?
The scene in the Bonnie Minstrel pub. That was unbelievably tense.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Chris' flashback to his Dad and realizing how he was changed already by the Process.
Any additional comments?
This is a very unique thriller; hyper real and engaging. Recommended.

Historia
Nobody knew where it came from. Nobody knew why it came. When an eight-foot-tall man made of stone appears in the middle of a busy city center one July afternoon, two-bit (and antisocial) reporter Andy Pointer assumes it's just a publicity stunt. Indeed, so does everyone else...until the Stone Man begins to walk, heading silently through the wall of the nearest building, flattening it, and killing several people inside as a result.

A Classic!
Revisado: 11-04-15
If you could sum up The Stone Man in three words, what would they be?
I absolutely loved this book! Luke Smitherd does it again with his very professional and distinct way of storytelling. The audible was executed extremely well by Matt Addis as he was switching narratives and connecting you with each character. The Stone Man is a captivating and beautifully written sci-fi thriller with a twist that will haunt you at night. It flows at a deliberate and intense pace, but this story will send your mind racing. I listened to it's entirety in about 3 days because I just couldn't stop thinking about it. Excellent book that's realistic and keeps you guessing...a real diamond in the rough. I'm eagerly waiting for a sequel! With a rebel yell, she cried more more more!!!

Would you listen to A Head Full of Knives again? Why?
AHFOK is absolutely stimulating while Luke goes deep with this one. His original concepts and unique imagination kept me up a couple nights with listening to this mastermind of a writer narrate yet another astonishing and thought provoking story. I highly recommend this audible for an creepy but emotional and unusual thrill ride where you find yourself questioning everything! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Mesmerizing!
Revisado: 11-04-15
What did you love best about In The Darkness, That's Where I'll Know You: The Complete Black Room Story?
It's a rare pleasure that I find such an intelligent, fresh and spellbinding writer like Luke Smitherd. This was my first purchase of his and decided to buy the audible for a long road trip I had planned. Luke did the narrating remarkably well, as he portrayed the deliciously demented and absolutely mesmerizing story himself! The characters were intriguing and and wrapping my head around the chilling complexity of it all, fascinated me from kickoff to completion and I couldn't turn it off. Get ready for it to lead you everywhere you don't expect, doesn't rip you off and leaves you totally freaked out! I highly recommend this unforgettable story. My plan now is to devour everything this guy writes.
