Historia
In the dark corners of the Mortal Realms, the mad and mysterious Gloomspite Gitz go to war, following the trail of their abominable lunar deity. Nowhere is beyond the sight of the Bad Moon—not even those places under Sigmar’s protection, like the sweltering city of Draconium. Beneath the scalding rains of Aqshy, the city is a boiling pot of tension, its regent praying to Sigmar for guidance while Watch Captain Helena Morthan douses the fires of anarchy: blades drawn in the streets, heretical doomsayers preaching the end of days, and insects eating watchmen alive.

Like a slasher film but in AoS! Very good and very creepy. Definitely worth a read if you like horror fiction or gobbos.

Historia
Gotrek Gurnisson barges into Greywater Fastness seeking answers as to why his Fyreslayer rune is mysteriously waning. But finding them in the stronghold's clogged and blackened arteries may prove far more difficult than first thought, and with skaven warlocks building something deep underground – something that will cement their place in skavendom forever – Gotrek begins to wonder if he might instead find that which has eluded him these past ages – his doom.

Historia
Unaware of the wider Heresy and following the Warmaster's increasingly cryptic orders, Roboute Guilliman returns to Ultramar to muster his Legion for war against the orks massing in the Veridian system. Without warning, their supposed allies in the Word Bearers Legion launch a devastating invasion of Calth, scattering the Ultramarines fleet and slaughtering all who stand in their way. This confirms the worst scenario Guilliman can imagine - Lorgar means to settle their bitter rivalry once and for all.

Historia
The nomadic sled-city of Riika-Min glides endlessly along the icy tundra of Ghur, its denizens’ existence entwined with the rhythm of the realm. But something is disrupting the balance of the Realm of Beasts, and when a kraken suddenly attacks, Sigmar sends his master tracker, Yndrasta, the Celestial Spear, to hunt it down. In Riika-Min, Yndrasta meets Njda, trying to guide her people to safety. Njda is at once fearful and in awe of the golden-clad warrior from the sky, and soon learns how dangerous it can be to get between a hunter and her quarry.

Emma gregory is as always stellar. I loved hearing about the fun and unique parts of the realms and Yndrasta is almost like an elemental force that sweeps in. My only complaint is it jumps hard into action scenes

If they can just get there… Well, Drekki Flynt can smell aether-gold a realm off, and surely Barak-Minoz is dripping with riches just ripe for the taking. But there are forces at work that would stop Drekki from finding out what happened to Barak-Minoz. A warhammer book for the ages
Revisado: 04-08-24
Few warhammer books elicit this kind of joy in me but I am proud to say this is by far one of the best I have ever read. The book is packed full of swashbuckling action, heart, and humor that made me so excited to listen to the next chapter. Despite a large cast of characters everyone managed to make an impact on the story and it really felt like a crew of lovable misfits. Guy Haley writes an excellent tale and Andrew Spooner gives so much life and unique voices to all the characters. It’s a book that is only equalled in excellence by the Infinite and the divine. I should have never doubted this book would be good, because he’s Drekki Flynt!

Here, where kabals and haemonculus covens pump psychic viscera into the warp, Ufthak is thrown into gladiatorial combat and soon finds himself up against an archon who will stop at nothing to prove she deserves to rule the Dark City – even if it means bringing Commorragh down around her.

Historia
Cadia licks its wounds in the wake of the Thirteenth Black Crusade. The heretic forces retreat on all fronts. The day is won. But Lord Castellan Creed cannot rest easy. Something tells him the assault was a mere prelude to something greater, something more final. He is right. Out of the Eye of Terror comes Abaddon the Despoiler, at the head of a warhost unmatched in scale since the dread days of the Horus Heresy.

An epic like no other
Revisado: 01-19-24
One of my favorite warhammer books by far, hell, books in general. This sprawling epic is like the War and Peace of 40k. It goes from the macro to the micro. Giving you the hopes and dreams of the lowliest serf to Creed himself, going even as far to humanize the great general. Truly worth a read or even a re read. Don’t be daunted by the size, its worth every page.

Historia
Cadia, 10,000 years a stalwart bastion against Chaos, is broken. Its collapse at the hands of Abaddon and the Thirteenth Black Crusade has fractured the Imperium of Man, and in its wake spreads the seeds of heresy, lies and insurrection. It falls to Cadia’s survivors to fight on, bloodied but unyielding, in the name of the Emperor. On the world of Malouri, traitorous forces have retreated to the impregnable island fortress of Crannog Mons.
