It’s summer time, the sun is shining, bridesmaids are maiding, groomsmen are grooming and Wedding Crashers are out for the great food and the one night stands!

And then there is Whitney Aldritch and Meri Mercer, they have wedding crashing down to an art. The big secret, the best man is hot, very hot, exceedingly hot and Whitney Aldritch can attest to that, but first she has to get over the fact her “best-man” from the Tahoe wedding just showed up at Mass General and he cohort are about to start their training with guess who? Yup Dr. Whitney Aldritch is his attending physician.

The audio is just as good as the book! In fact narrators Oscar Reyes and Stella Hunter do an amazing job bring Dr. Henry Hazlette and Dr. Whitney Aldritch to life. The funny parts seemed to funnier, baseball game had me laughing and well I can’t use the next scene because I would give a lot away…let’s just say these two narrators did a wonderful job.

As always Kate Canterbary brings her A game with Change of Heart, her narrators did a wonderful job and if you are an audio listener, I say grab this one.

The Boss
(Men Of Hidden Justice)
Written by: Melanie Moreland

Narrators: John Lane & Maxine Mitchell

When one of your favourite authors takes a foray into a new genre, Romantic suspense, are you going to think twice before following her? OK in my case I would willingly open the door for her. Melanie Moreland has been a staple read for me over the past 3 years and the fact that I delve into the DARK SIDE on a regular basis had me jonesing for The Boss when it came out in print.

Now, thank you audio gods, The Boss is out in audiobook and narrators John Lane and Maxine Mitchell have taken Matteo and Evie’s story and given them life! You feel like you’re running down those streets and alleys with Evie, that’s how good Maxine is. John, oh John how you take Matteo and give him life is something every audiobook listener hopes for. Listeners are there from the beginning to the end and when it’s over you look around, look to see whose close by and then you hit “Start” and listen again!

HARVEST OF LOVE

There are days when I need something short but sweet. Those are the days when Melanie Moreland’s Insta-Spark books come off my shelf.
Harvest of Love is a beautiful story about self care and love.

Dani works in a competitive business and the stress is starting to affect her life. Noah lives and works on his family farm. They are into all things wholesome and good for you. Add to that Noah has been in Dani’s shoes and wants to help her.

The audio book brought this story to life. Narrators John Lane and Maxine Mitchell gave Dani and Noah life that only good narrators can do. Maxine Mitchell brought Dani and her issues with panic attacks to life. She made this character real and this is one reason I love to listen to good audio books. John Lane’s Noah was spot on. The first time Noah saw Dani is was hooked and he also knew he could help her. But she needed to be ready to accept him.

Five stars across the board on this audio book!

Finding Ronan's Heart

Ronan Callaghan, the oldest of a set of triplets and a man who is just wants someone who sees him, not his family, not his wealth, not his brothers....just him. He's handsome, well spoken, polite and he just met a cute waitress with curly hair and pretty eyes, her name is Beth. Maybe this is the one that will see him for who he is. Melanie Moreland is well known for giving readers swoon worthy men. In this case she's also give us a man that we need to replicate and populate the world with them.

When taking a written book to an audio book you need the right voices, the right narrators - the right people who will draw you into the story. Narrators John Lane and Maxine Mitchell were the right ones for Finding Ronan's Heart. It was pure entertainment listening to them walk me through this audio book.

Audio books give listeners a different way to experience a book and in Finding Ronan's Heart, John Lane and Maxine Mitchell have taken Melanie Moreland's words and brought them to life.

YOU KNOW EVERY THING: PUCKANT CROSS BOOK 1
WRITTEN BY SUE WATTS – NARRATED BY ANN PETERS

I was lucky enough to be able to not just read You Know Every Thing: Puckant Cross Book 1, but to also listen to the audio of this book.

I think audio and narration bring a whole new vibe to a book. When you hear the voices and match them to a character it make a book even more memorable. If you have the right Narrator, then that ups the game even more. Ann Peters did a superb job giving voice to all the characters. From accents to low smooth whispers and Nosy Jorge she was able to bring this story to another level.

Books grow when you put the right narrator with the right author and words and in this case I can tell you, I really enjoyed listening to Sue Watts characters come to life.

Chasing Benedict: The Gentleman Courtesans, Book 5
Written by: Victoria Vale
Narrated by: Darcy Stark

Finally we get Benedict Sterling’s story in book 5 of The Gentleman Courtesans series.

Benedict has not had an easy life. His father never liked him and beat him and he was a victim of bullying while at Eaton, which lead him to fight for himself. He had few friends but the ones he had were true friends. Benedict however hid something from almost everyone in his life. It could mean death for him if it ever was found out and there had only been one person in his life who he trusted and loved, Lord Alexander Osborne, Earl of Vautrey. That ended for Ben when he thought Alex had changed his mind and left Ben to the crazed machinations of his father.

Victoria Vale’s words give Darcy Stark a beautiful blueprint to narrate this story. Darcy’s voice skills are amazing and when it comes to narrating Vale’s books it’s like leaving this century and going back in time to the days of balls and duels. Where we picture events in her books when we read, we take up residence in her books when Darcy Stark narrates. This team of writer and narrator do a most amazing job taking readers/listeners on a journey.

I am such a fan I own the books and the audiobooks and when I want to escape you can be sure it’s to Victoria Vale and Darcy Stark I return to again and again.

Taming of the Rake Audion Book Review
The Gentleman Couresans #4
Written by: Victoria Vale
Narrated by: Darcy Stark

As with all of Victoria Vale's books, when one reads it they take her words and your mind can you the pictures that her words have created. When listening to her books being narrated by Darcy Stark, you can then add the colours, the background noises, the scents and heightened emotions. That's what good narrators should give you and that is exactly what you get when Darcy Stark and Victoria Vale come together in an audio book.

Mr. David Graham, a coveted rake, a sensual lover and a true gentleman is called him for an emergency, just as the London Gossip is about to expose the names of the Gentleman Courtesans. The emergency is the unexpected death of his father. David expects to find one thing upon his arrival home, what he finds is devastating.

His years as a Couresan were very good to him, making enough money to purchase a small London home and live his life, while sending home money to keep the fields full of crops, the workers homes in repair and the family home up to date. That however, is not the case. Davide quickly figures out the ruse the man overseeing the work and running of the farm, but is just a that much to late to get the authorities involved and the man takes off. Hence a letter to Ben is written about the tires straights his sisters, mother and then estate are in and asking if Ben can find him another keeper.

Shortly after that note to Ben, Mrs. Regina Hurst comes into David's life as his new keeper. She has a short temper, rigid with her rules and is obviously afraid of him and of men on whole. What did her husband do to her?

Darcy Stark takes listeners through the push and pull between David and Regina, while they learn more about each other and finally find they might be better together than apart. I thought I had caught all the clues needed to help give listeners/readers more insight into Ben's upcoming story and it wasn't until I listened to this audio book that I realized I had actually read through one clue and did not catch it until I hear Darcy voicing it. It was a major clue in regards to the friendship of two of our Courtesans.

Darcy Stark gives yet another great performance of another one of Victoria Vale's stories.

Nobody Does it Better – Lauren Blakely - 5 stars to be shared with everyone :)

This is an audio fans delight! There is so much love and so many great narrators how can one go wrong?

Having Joe Arden, Erin Mallon, Andi Arndt, Jason Clarke, Carly Robins along with guests Savannah Peachwood and Virgina Rose’s whispering sweet sexy stories to you each evening is the best way to get ready for a great night of dreaming of happy endings and sexy voices.

Nobody Does it Better and the Novella’s that followed are just what a girl needs to finish off her day.

So many thanks go to Lauren and all the amazing narrators. If they only gave us a choice of more stars I know I would be able to give more than 5!

A Beautiful story narrated by a gifted Narrator

In the Making of a Scandal Victoria Vale has given us a beautiful story about two people, a woman who is afraid of what others think of her because of her mixed race and a man whose father has pretty much told him for years since he is a third son he is useless.

Both suffering from what society thinks of them. Nick (Benedict) Burke, our hero thumbs his nose at his father who hasn't a good word to say about Nick. Our heroine Calliope Barrington, daughter of an Viscount, who is of mixed race. Her father had married an woman of Bengali royalty. Both playing games while under the watch of 1819 society in England.

This is a truly emotional story and narrator Darcy Stark, who is a truly gifted narrator gives us the voices of all the characters and brings home to the listener, that maybe the grass isn't greener on the other side. That maybe people of status don't have a life better than others. Life consists of more than money but of love, respect, caring and compassion.

Victoria Vale as always has through her skill with words a story that hits your heart and takes you on a journey with Nick and Calliope that is both erotic, emotional and heartwarming in the end.

Truly, worth every hour of your time while listening.

Crispin, Duke of Bainbridge is betrothed to a lady who he has no intention of marrying.

Jessica Brentwood is trying to fly below the radar hoping to get this season over and go home, all she needs to do is keep out of trouble.

These two people end up being thrust in front of the ton through no fault of their own. One drugged the other knocked out then set up to be humiliated. It doesn't take long to figure out who set this whole thing up, and the two perpetrators are keeping their mouths shut.

With the help and support of Jessica's family (her sister & brother-in-law), her own older brother and Crispin's lawyers they work to get it all sorted out. When it comes to Jessica however, it's up to Crispin to show Jessica that it has always been her he has loved, not the lady who was his fiancé (that bethrothal being drawn up when they were both children). I think Crispin can do it, if Jessica will give him a chance.

Stevie Zimmerman does a wonderful job narrating this Collette Cameron story.
