You are NOT alone!
Revisado: 03-27-18
This book really addressed many social, emotional, psychological and political implications of being a single, no children woman in the USA today, as well as a single mother. Traister touched on the amazing history of women, African American, Asian, Hispanic, lesbian and how far we have come. Wonderful cross-cultural of interviews. We still have a ways to go in order to make being single without kids a stigma lifestyle, but we have come a long way. I enjoyed the matter fact way of the narrator, very consistent and vibrant. Excellent read, perfect and a must for the single ladies!

I'm a big fan already of Jane Yellowrock, but Nell is something else. There is magic in these stories & I hate to see the end of book come, I want them to go on. Can't wait until 12/5 for the release of the next one!

Each episode just like a TV show, I have fallen for this series of stories as well as fallen for Jack & Sarah. They are 2 very unlikely partners but such sleuthing fun. On to the next ones!

Historia
Spring, 1909, and Lady Hardcastle, amateur sleuth and all-round eccentric, is enjoying a well-deserved rest. But a week after a trip to the cattle market, Spencer Caradine, a local farmer, turns up dead in the pub, face-down in his beef and mushroom pie. Once again, it is up to Lady Hardcastle and her maid, Florence, to solve the case. Armed with wit and whimsy, not to mention Florence’s mean right hook, the pair set out to discover what really happened and why. Was it poison or just ill luck?

Brit-filled humor & mystery fun
Revisado: 05-26-17
I've enjoyed this early 20th century sleuth fun in the style of Agatha Christie's Poirot. I will continue to read the series if for nothing else but the relationship between Armstrong and My Lady, but the sleuthing is also quite entertaining.

Historia
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Great story, well performed!
Revisado: 11-20-16
This was a unique storyline, purchased it because Quinto was reading it. Never imaged it was about a twist on death. Though the story's theme stalled me finishing right away, it was a solid & enjoyable story, with a touch of morbidity. I'd recommend just due to its mysterious unique content.

Historia
The shots came quickly, silently, and with deadly accuracy. Within seconds, three people were dead at Central Park's ice skating rink. The victims: a talented young skater, a doctor, and a teacher. As random as random can be. Eve Dallas has seen a lot of killers during her time with the NYPSD, but never one like this. After reviewing security videos, it becomes clear that the victims were killed by a sniper firing a tactical laser rifle, who could have been miles away when the trigger was pulled.

Historia
An orchestral conductor has been found dead and Detective Inspector Jack Robinson needs the delightfully incisive and sophisticated Miss Fisher's assistance. Hugh Tregennis has been murdered in a most flamboyant mode by a killer with a point to prove. But how many killers is Phryne really stalking? At the same time, the dark curls and disdainful air of mathematician and code-breaker Rupert Sheffield are taking Melbourne by storm. They've certainly taken the heart of Phryne's old friend from the trenches of WWI, John Wilson. Phryne recognises Sheffield as a man who attracts danger and is determined to protect John from harm.

I continue to enjoy each of Kerry Greenwood's books. They are so much fun and the narrator is spot on with all accents, French dialogues, German phrases & SINGING too. I felt the 1920s come to life with a wonderful touch of Mendelssohn. A mystery to Enjoy!

Danger, excitement and love - this is how the glamorous Phryne Fisher is determined to live her life in her second enticing adventure. Walking the wings of a Tiger Moth plane in full flight ought to be enough excitement for most people, but not Phryne Fisher, amateur detective, woman of mystery, as delectable as the finest chocolate and as sharp as razor blades.
