This Is My Least Favorite Book In the Series

I have read and listened to this book multiple times, and after my latest re-listen, I realized that it is not my favorite in the series. It is short and has way too many sex scenes.

So, I realize that this is the book where Merry has all this magical sex with a multitude of men, so it sets us up for the pregnancy reveal when she realizes that she got knocked up after this wild time.and return to their home, hut it really lacks on the storytelling side. This entire book could have just been in the last book or the book after this one.

Interesting Way To Close the Loop

At first I was confused about the storyline structure, but once i realized that the "flashback" chapters were actually Marcus telling his story to others, it became easier to follow along.

Phoebe's experience as a newborn vampire was interesting as well and added some humor to the story.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. I liked the inclusion of familiar characters, especially the twins. I wish we'd gotten more of Jack and even Gallowglass, but I understand why they weren't included as much.

I started this series after watching the show and am glad I did that because it helped me to visualize the characters, even if their book versions differ from the show.

Thoroughly Enjoyed This Book

I've been curious about this book series fir several years, but didn't finally dive into it until after I fell in love with the TV Series. I enjoyed the narration and revisiting the story and comparing the differences between the original story and the show.

I haven't read Anne Rice in many years, but this book definitely reminds me of her writing, and is inspiring me to revisit her books. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an escape and a storyline that isn't one note.

My 3 year old son and I enjoyed this podcast on our way home. He liked hearing familiar sounds and characters from his favorite show Sesame Street. Thank you for this new podcast for your younger listeners.

Great Inspiration & Motivation

Listening to the stories and anecodtes along with the guided advoce on how to pursue greatness was wonderful! This is a great book for entrepreneurs, students and anyone starting something new or looking to start something new!
