Historia
Meet Randi Burnett—she’s brilliant, she’s beautiful, and she works for the bride. Missing groom? Intoxicated in-laws? Crying ring-bearer? You name it, she wrangles it. Too bad her personal life isn’t thriving like her side gig as a bridesmaid for hire. Recently dumped, Randi throws herself into her biggest challenge yet when she’s hired as a maid of honor and pretend best friend for an ice queen bride. There’s just one problem—the best man is infuriating, overprotective, and anti-marriage.

Confusing at best
Revisado: 02-16-25
I had a hard time getting into it as it is a slow start with a stiff character. A quarter of the way in they reveal that the leading man is gay which made it hard to follow/believe the rest of storyline. Just an odd book really.

A miss for me
Revisado: 06-10-23
A loyal fan of the author I found this book to be a bit too political for me. I am used to the wonderful christian characters she is known for however found them missing in this one. Instead of Christianity being core the characters politics were. The gospel was tossed in for convince rather than conviction and it did not add up. Disappointed to say the least.

Historia
Spending a quiet Christmas housesitting and reading novels about hot cowboys sounds perfect to Caitlin--until a stray kitten brings her face to face with Noah, her crush from college. Watching the handsome vet in action melts Caitlin's heart and brings back long-forgotten emotion. She would be safer back at the house lost in the pages of a book. But a toe-curling mistletoe kiss tempts her to stay. Maybe she won't be spending this Christmas alone.

Historia
Did you know that men secretly use texting as a way to "pre-screen" a woman’s romantic value? A woman’s texting habits can reveal a lot about her self-worth, confidence, intelligence, and even her level of class and emotional maturity. Because guys covertly appraise a woman’s relationship potential this way, many women often have no idea that the way they communicate via text is actually sending the wrong message and thus, they unknowingly end up chasing men away.

Unfiltered. Unapologetic. Older, but not wiser, Lancaster goes back to basics in this hilarious essay collection about everything from taking community policing classes to accidentally getting high with her waiter after a fancy dinner. These are the tales she'd tell if she met you in a bar... if she weren't too lazy to put on pants and go to a bar. Offering advice ranging from how to remain happily married to a man who refuses to blow his damn nose already to not creating An Incident at the cheese counter during an attempt at Whole30, she's you, only louder.

skip it
Revisado: 06-11-21
I usually find Jen hilarious this time I found her disappointing. The book was riddled with GDs and Fletch is beyond lame. It was page after page of trying too hard and falling flat.
