In Act III, we follow Morpheus on a grand journey to take care of family business. He visits with his son Orpheus (Regé-Jean Page), an act that brings with it profound consequences. Accompanied by Delirium (Kristen Schaal), he tracks down their estranged brother, Destruction (David Harewood), the only member of the Endless ever to abandon their post. And at an inn at the intersection of all worlds, a group of travelers are forced together by a storm that threatens to destroy reality itself, with grave repercussions for Morpheus and the rest of the Endless.

Just like the other two acts, the production value is excellent and the stories are always an interesting and usually fun time.

so intriguing
Revisado: 11-07-22
Hero or Villain, that's the question from the very beginning. I'm becoming very excited for the rest of the series. I'm also so intrigued with the culture in here. I think I heard some elements that scratch my limited knowledge of India, Japan, and China. Hints at some others. So just that mix of cultural influence is fascinating.

Historia
Joseph is having a comically rough year. His job sucks, his relationship ended, he’s plagued by prank phone calls, and he nearly lost his father to the virus. When his best friend asks him to donate his sperm so that she can start a family, Joseph just can’t understand why anyone would bring a child into this calamitous world. The only bright spot is an intriguing new online relationship with an attractive internet “daddy” that has him rethinking his isolation until a series of revelations have him facing even bigger decisions about his future.

Great, but too soon?
Revisado: 10-13-22
I love the concept of the story. Though a bit weird what was happening given the connection reveal. But I did like it though I wish there would have been more reflection of how he thought about previous generations after he realized he might be looked at like that one day. My biggest problem was its about the pandemic, well more endemic, that we're in and the possibility of a bleak future. So it's great, but I also feel on the edge of a panic attack because the material is kind of what if it doesn't get better.

It was a nice sample of lives many of which I may have never have known, some I have may have heard of, and a few who I knew the reputation of. I only wish the chapters in the guide were labeled by person and not by number.

informative
Revisado: 09-30-22
While his current importance is obvious to those of us living during the Covid-19 pandemic, I was actually most interested in his history during the AIDs epidemic. I had heard it one night almost in passing on the news that his prominence started then. So I was very happy and teary eyed honestly as the narrator/author talked about that time in both his career and the community it most directly impacted. Overall wonderful capture of history of an important public servant.

Historia
In the final book of the Wizard for Hire trilogy, Ozzy and his friend (and Rin’s daughter), Sigi, are in danger. They are still being hunted by Ray, the power-mad villain who will stop at nothing to find the formula to the mind-controlling discipline serum - one that Ozzy’s parents created and injected into him. Knowing the dangers that lie ahead, Rin introduces Ozzy to four more friends who also claim magical, wizard-like abilities. Again, Ozzy has no reason to believe that magic exists or that Rin’s eccentric friends can help.

Good Conclusion, worrisome middle
Revisado: 09-02-22
I do enjoy very much the way they wrap it all up. The middle though made me question the decision to let these kids follow Ryn into danger. Which is part of the point, but also very uncomfortable. good series overall.

Questions of Power
Revisado: 08-31-22
The story in general I've liked a lot. I am curious how some people don't recognize each other with such bad blood between them. The world building has mostly been good, but I want to know more about what the differences are between Garon and Tal since the way they are presented seems like two sides of the same coin but somehow in the end one side of the coin seems to wind up 10x the size of the other. I also worry that some characters are going to end up overpowered which will make conflict less interesting or less believable. However, these questions of power levels is brought in close to the end, although they may be brushed earlier, so it's not too distracting a worry for the majority of the books.

Then he stumbles across a classified ad in the local newspaper that says "Wizard for Hire. Call 555-SPEL." Ozzy has read about wizards in books like Harry Potter, but wizards couldn't exist today, could they? After Ozzy meets the wizard Labyrinth - a.k.a. Rin - he's even more skeptical.

Yells
Revisado: 08-07-22
The only clear reason with distinct examples to give it less than 5 stars is the yelling. it comes up suddenly and rattles the speakers a bit. not that there's tons but they each felt like they punched my ears. To be fair not sure how else u would yell without yelling.

I just wish we got a year later for everyone. Find out how Sheppard's relationship is fairing. Long term effects of a certain spell on Simon along with him finally putting some but not all thos familial pieces together, or if hes found out what to do with his life. Like if you're going to give one snapshot give us snapshots of them all or a sequel series.

mostly good but slightly unexplored
Revisado: 04-13-22
I want to start with a response to a review i read beforehand about her being too trusting and them being tired of it. There really isn't a person she trusted that later came under suspicion that wouldn't be normal to trust. Especially since her first experience with the darker things outside the death of a family member only happened within the last year. Not to mention that despite her trusting people she is also always ready to throw someone over her shoulder or stab a person with her heels so she does have a level of insurance to safeguard that trust. I will say her rejection to see blatant affection for her as what it was is something that does annoy me. As for the rest of my review it may involve some spoilers, but for u to get what they mean you'd have to be pretty far in with most of the puzzle revealed already. mainly I want to know more about May's letter to her descendants. what did it actually say. for it to mean what the writer implies seems like it would betray her love and what his wishes were. that seems unlikely to me at least she would behave like that. I also want the author to explore the dad more, it feels like everything we knew about her parents came from this book and it wasn't much so I hope we delve deeper in the future. I was also confused why she didn't seek her brother for translation. I thought in the first book he spoke exclusively in their language though maybe it was more a common Indian language rather than tammel. she obviously is annoyed by her brother but given the two option, if the brother does speak tammel, I think it would be more likely she'd go to her brother because he annoys her less and because it is a family matter. granted as she pointed out tammel was spoken but at the time of her uncles they would have been more proficient at English writing than their native language so just because the brother could speak it doesn't mean he could read it. idk maybe I just want her to explore her family more and that would have been a good way to do it. Also sorry if I spelled the language wrong. Without the physical book I haven't seen it written out before.
