Historia
At the break of dawn, Caroline Shelby rolls into Oysterville, Washington, a tiny hamlet at the edge of the raging Pacific. She’s come home. Home to a place she thought she’d left forever, home of her heart and memories, but not her future. Ten years ago, Caroline launched a career in the glamorous fashion world of Manhattan. But her success in New York imploded on a wave of scandal and tragedy, forcing her to flee to the only safe place she knows. And in the backseat of Caroline’s car are two children who were orphaned in a single chilling moment.

Historia
In his book To Catch a Predator, Chris Hansen, the on-air correspondent for one of Dateline's most successful series, looks deeper into the world of child predators. The book expands beyond the Dateline series to include more commentary from psychological and criminal experts about the origins and methods of child predators, and includes substantive advice for both parents and children on how to protect kids who use the Internet.

Historia
Lazarus occupies a surprising position in the Gospel accounts. Widely known as the man Jesus raised from the dead, his story is actually much broader and richer than that. Living as he did at Bethany, near Jerusalem, Lazarus was uniquely placed to witness the swirl of events around Jesus. When Jesus Wept, the first novel in The Jerusalem Chronicles series by best-selling authors Bodie and Brock Thoene, unfolds the turbulent times in Judea during Jesus' ministry, centering on the friendship between Jesus and Lazarus.

Couldn't even complete the first chapter.
Revisado: 11-03-16
Would you try another book from Bodie Thoene and Brock Thoene and/or D. J. Canaday?
I have read other books by them and thoroughly enjoyed them.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of D. J. Canaday?
Someone with a Jewish accent. I mean a British accent with the Jewish peasants speaking Cockney? Really? I was "befuddled" by the whole experience. And then I got the giggles and the whole thing went downhill from there.
Any additional comments?
In the future may I suggest someone hold auditions for narrators and select a reader who fits the story.

Historia
Barry Laverty, M.B., can barely find the village of Ballybucklebo on a map when he first sets out to seek gainful employment there, but already he knows that there is nowhere he would rather live than in the emerald hills and dales of Northern Ireland. The proud owner of a spanking-new medical degree and little else in the way of worldly possessions, Barry jumps at the chance to secure a position as an assistant in a small rural practice. At least until he meets Dr. Fingal Flahertie O'Reilly.

Disappointing

What disappointed you about An Irish Country Doctor?
Too much filthy language.
Any additional comments?
This book was like a James Herriot "wannabe" but it fell far short.

Mrs Mike

I am shocked this book only received 2 stars. Over the years Mrs Mike has been my all time favorite book. I have read it at least 40 times and was so excited to find it on Audible. I will be listening to it over and over again.
