What a disappointment

There were times that I thought the author was going to pull it together, but instead I can't believe I hung in there for such a disappointing conclusion.
Also, no one should be surprised by who the main character "really" is. The fact that it had to literally be written into the story felt awkward and forced, and ultimately not even believable.

I've never read another author like Jackie Hill Perry; never knew anyone to string words and thoughts and truth together so beautifully, honestly and achingly. Tears of sadness, hurt, joy and gladness ran through nearly the entire book.

Nothing new but somehow totally fresh

I have left this book feeling more enthusiastic about my own marriage, having a much clearer understanding of the goodness of singleness, an increased desire to be a more committed sister in Christ and to love the family of God more. I am challenged to think more seriously about the ramifications of original sin and the importance and goal of discipleship. Above all else, I leave loving Jesus more and wanting even more of him and his word.

This particular book did an excellent job bringing all the stories together and providing needed background information. I especially liked the biblical references and spiritual aspect. Great book Steven James.

As with all of the Bowers File books, this one didn't disappoint. Great storyline that kept my interest all the way to the end. Richard Ferrone is the best at narrating this series.
