There’s something about this narrator that I really enjoy! This is a story that could happen to anyone. It’s more of a realistic wlw storyline. There’s heartache and truthfulness in this, with a relationship that lasts this long. I was able to relate to these characters more than other books. It wasn’t Melissa’s typical story line. It was heartwarming and sad at the same time. HEA for sure. You won’t be wasting a credit with this one.

Jae does it again!

Jae has done it again! I’m from Oregon, so the restaurants might be fictitious….but the area she describes aren’t. I love hearing about areas i know. A beautiful love story! Abby is amazing as usual. The way she narrates brings stories to life.

Great listen!

I love wlw novels and there’s always trouble towards the end. Then, the main characters work it out and confess their love. This didn’t have that typical story line. It was a nice change. Difficult subjects dealt throughout, but handled with compassion and honesty. It was great to see that the actress wasn’t a huge jerk.
TJ Richards is an underrated narrator, who does a fantastic job at portraying the characters. She really makes them come alive. Her voice for each is distinct and there’s no confusion as to who is talking. I highly recommend this audiobook.

One of Jae’s best. It had the love story without the major drama. Though, I love listening to lesbian romance. They are all sort of the same. This was a breath of fresh air, not having that. Beautiful story and highly recommend.

Another fantastic story

Abby and Gerri do it again!! I love the love story that unfolded. My only wish is that there would have been an epilogue of more of their future story, or another chapter. Sometimes, family will surprise you and be more accepting than you think.

Suggested read for the younger LGBTQ generations

Beautifully written! As a 35 year old lesbian, this book hit home in many ways. But, it also reminded me of how far we have come. This book highlights the bravery of women to be their true self in a time when it was still wrong to be gay. I love how it played out, my only wish is that the ending would have been an epilogue into their future. Despite that, this was still an insightful read.

Friends to lovers?!

I was hesitant to listen because it was so long. But, I am so glad I made the purchase. This is by far my favorite book. Sutton is awkward and nervous, and Charlotte is confident. The perfect friends to lovers story line, that actually made me cry in parts. Please follow up on their story line.

Beautifully written

This is such a fantastic book. I have never cried so much throughout a book. But, the love that Harry shows is so touching. I would highly recommend this book. I love the ending and wouldn’t be disappointed if there was a sequel.

I love all of Gerri Hill’s books. I love Abby as the narrator. I feel like I’m right there with the characters, watching everything unfold. I’ve listened to all of them several times. My only complaint is some of them aren’t longer.
