I felt like I was back in 1966-the year I graduated from high school and so many of the boys in my class were sent off to Vietnam for their high school trip. The music that was mentioned and the movies, the clothing, the cars, even politics in that day -everything was so meaningfully and accurately described. I was taken back in time to period I had somewhat put out of my mind. It was without question, The best book I have ever “experienced”!

Now I love her even more! Sally Field was/is the sweet perky little woman I’ve always admired and enjoyed watching on TV and in movies BUT I would never have imagined so much more was going on inside that little person! I didn’t want to put her book down and not just because it is Sally. The story of her life so far is intriguing; her writing ability kept me right there with her with every word, and, of course, her performance was perfection! I just hope she writes a Part 2 after her next 20 years or so...
