They fear the fallen king. But the two men are one and the same.

Historia
Joe takes his first step into exile, and is promptly unable to breathe. This new Zone has a higher concentration of power, magnitudes denser. His first task is to survive, but mere survival is the least of his concerns. The Zone he has landed on has been in a state of constant war for thousands of years, a tug of war between the Elven and Dwarven societies. Not choosing a side is the same as declaring both to be your personal enemy. Though he is resistant, Joe reluctantly decides to go with the group he thinks will help him grow the most.

Good original story.
Revisado: 05-14-23
Some of the reviews talk about character classes not being explained. I think it's part of the story, you discover as you go, learning along with the main character. Heath Miller great as always. The one annoying thing about the story is the over Gung ho enthusiasm of the main character. Every thing is an inspirational speech. If the main character stubbed his toe then there would be an epic monolgue about righting the world's evils to fix it. It gets more cliche and irritating as the story progresses.

Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

Great book. Fantastic narration.
Revisado: 09-27-20
I read this book years ago. I have to say this production of it was very good. Not quite a radio play but with enough voice actors and sound effects to be extremely entertaining.
I would highly recommend this book and the narration.

Enjoyable Story.
Revisado: 11-21-19
I enjoy RC Bray's narration. I'm not sure I would have finished it otherwise. The story was predictable. That's not to say it didn't keep my attention and stay well paced throughout. This was a good sci fi story with some interesting twists.

Better one of the series.

Good pacing. Good resolution. Still repeats several lines over and over, about 7 catch phrases in the series that are often repeated.

Revisado: 09-27-19
Absolutely Love this 3rd book of this trilogy.
I thought the first book moved slowly in building the base characters & environmental situations, but ended well. The 2nd book was very enjoyable, much faster paced, and significantly better than the 1st. This 3rd book is above & beyond the best of the 3. Very enjoyable read/listen! Well done!

The overall story is good, but started very slowly
Revisado: 09-16-19
Started very slowly. Last few chapters were very good. Overall story was good. But, since the characters were almost completely different from the first 4 books, a huge amount of character building was needed. It was very close to starting a whole new series.
