Indicative of continuity problems is the heroine's trip from France to England which was plagued by the incessant rain her mother warned of, yet in the remainder of the book, the only rain was the flooding of the hero's family farm.

The book might be suitable to someone who read and liked the Graphic Novel, but even then they might not understand why the order of parts of the story was changed.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

It's a challenging story to tell as audio only. The story was sort of interesting, but, for audio, would have been better as traditional horror/suspense novel.

Frustration, I had to borrow the graphic novels from the library. Even then, the reshuffled sections of the story made it hard to follow.

There plenty of originality and imagination here, but it's just not suited to this medium.
