I like more action so to me the story just seemed to drag on a bit too long. Very long, as a matter of fact I fell asleep for over an hour while listening and I didn’t miss a thing.

I couldn’t even make it through the first book. If all you want is sex, sex, and then more sex then this is for you.
I like to listen to books with actual storylines.

I will say though that the narrator does a good job.

Needs a new narrator

I have listed to the Kate Fox series by this same author, which I thoroughly enjoyed. This book needs a new author, I will not be finishing it nor will I getting any other books with this narrator. Giving all 1 stars because I can’t just review the narrator

Not worth the time

I’m not at the end of the book yet and not sure I will finish. The story is not very good and the female narrator WHINES throughout the entire book - it’s awful! I won’t give any spoiler alerts but good grief can we move the story along please - I’m so tired of listening to the same thing over and over and over again while the main character just whines.

I had listened to the book before this which was pretty good but this was not worth my time.

The story is okay, but the narrator isn’t the greatest. He makes some of the characters sound like whiners and several of the other characters sound childish. I also had to speed it up a notch to avoid going to sleep

Stops with 20 minutes left

The book was okay and the narrator was good, but with 20 minutes left it Stoppard wouldn’t go any further. I have no idea of the ending.

Zoned Out

I forgot how much I dislike this narrator, way too much whining! I listened to all the books before this one and enjoyed the story and narration, but I zoned out through most of this book because I just couldn’t take the whining. Every female is made to sound like a whiny teenager!

It might be a good story but I just can’t say with any amount of certainty if it is as I tuned out most of it, thank goodness it was free!

Overdramatic Performance

I love Nora Roberts and read this series years ago. I enjoyed the story so thought it would be nice to listen to it - but I’m only part way through and probably won’t finish it as the narration is AWFUL! She is overly dramatic throughout the entire book and when the action heats up - she SCREAMS! I won’t be listening to the other two, I’ll just grab my nook and read them.
