Aliens the earth and knowledge?
Revisado: 12-30-20
I found this book to be very interesting, actually fascinating! Coppens is great and is very knowledgeable and well informed on this topic. I found myself a bit confused at times by his syntax and use of language. All in all though, the book is great and I learned a great deal from it. I found the music to be very distracting and at times down right annoying! In the future I would enjoy his work and narrative much more if he would forget the music and concentrate on the knowledge he would wish to impart.

If you love Stout and Nero ya gotta give a listen!
Revisado: 05-20-12
What made the experience of listening to The Shakespeare Folio the most enjoyable?
This goes for all of the Nero Wolf mysteries tha I downloaded and listened to. I have been a fan of Rex Stout and Nero Wolf since I was in my teens and here I am in my late 60's still enjoying them. Wonderful presentations by great actors! Sydney Greenstreet is awesome as Nero though at times it is difficult to understand him because of his very singular voice.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Shakespeare Folio?
The most memorable thing about ALL of the Nero Wolf mysteries is of course the interaction between Archie and Wolf. It is what makes the stories special.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Very few of the storyies make you cry but all of them have moments that make you laugh! What else can you do with the way the primary characters react with each other.

John Wayne in one of his pivotal roles. Wonderful!
Revisado: 05-20-12
Would you consider the audio edition of Stagecoach to be better than the print version?
Not really, but both are special in their own right. The Duke is the Duke no matter where or when you encounter him. Well worth the listen and I have listened to it a number of times.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Stagecoach?
The scene during the birth of the baby is great. Ward Bond pulls off the Doctor's role only as he could do it. Wonderful job! At the end after the gun fight is John Wayne as we should always remember him!
Any additional comments?
This is a western classic performed by the best actors money could buy at the time. John Wayne had just won an award for all time favorite actor and he certainly deserved it in my opinion and showed why in his performance!

The DUKE on Radio WONDERFUL!
Revisado: 05-20-12
Would you consider the audio edition of She Wore a Yellow Ribbon to be better than the print version?
The print version vs. the audio version is like comparing apples and oranges! Both have certain advantages. I will say that if you are a fan of John Wayne and John Ford does it realy matter!? John Wayne is John Wayne no matter how or where you encounter his expertise as a performer. At times he comes off a bit stiff on the audio version but when I thought about it he comes off a bit stiff in his print roles. I have enjoyed ALL of his performances going way back to the 1930's and some of his "one reelers" that he did with Yakima Knute and some of the old timers all the way up through his last films! Awesome actor awesome work. . . what else can you say.
Any additional comments?
A+ for any John Wayne fans! Well worth the time.
