Now, malignant forces seek to possess the button box, and it is up to Senator Gwendy Peterson to keep it from them at all costs.

Historia
At 22, Cheryl Strayed thought she had lost everything. In the wake of her mother's death, her family scattered and her own marriage was soon destroyed. Four years later, with nothing more to lose, she made the most impulsive decision of her life: to hike the Pacific Crest Trail from the Mojave Desert through California and Oregon to Washington State - and to do it alone. She had no experience as a long-distance hiker, and the trail was little more than “an idea, vague and outlandish and full of promise.” But it was a promise of piecing back together a life that had come undone.

Wayward daughters. Missing husbands. Philandering partners. Curious con men. If you've got a problem, and no one else can help you, then pay a visit to Mma Ramotswe, Botswana's only female private detective. Her methods may not be conventional, and her manner not exactly Miss Marple's, but she's got warmth, wit, and canny intuition on her side - not to mention Mr J.L.B. Maketoni, the charming proprietor of Tlokweng Road Speedy Motors.

Amazing performance. I really love narrators round, accented talk. Book itself is a collection of cases that become one uniquely intertwining story, a desert flavored, sun warm dream of life and cultures in deep, proud africa.

Murakami's take on Great Gatsby. Great narration
Revisado: 10-10-19
Narration is done skillfully, the actor creates distinct and believable voices for main characters.
An artist moves to a house in the mountains after separation. He is determined to we're on his artistic pursuits. When he finds a masterful painting in the attic a chain of events already started involving a white hair neighbor across the valley, pit behind the shrine, his art students and an idea from the painting.
Contemporary magical realism in style favored by Murakami. Story kept me interested. Well worth a listen.
