Historia
The War on Warriors uncovers the deep roots of our dysfunction—a society that has forgotten the men who take risks, cut through red tape, and get their hands dirty. The only kind of men prepared to face the dangers that the Left pretends don’t exist. Unlike issues of education or taxes or crime, this problem doesn’t have a zip code solution. We can’t move away from it. We can’t avoid it. We have only one Pentagon. Either we take it back or surrender it altogether.

Clarity on a sad devolution of our military
Revisado: 10-11-24
Fantastic book on a very real national security risk.
I grew up a major fan of Dr Martin Luther King. Trust me, I was the only one in my house and perhaps the only fan in our circle of friends. If nothing else, my enlisted USMCR tour would have knocked any bigotry out of me, one way or another. I managed to retire as a USAF major in 2005. Back then we had Social Actions teams that would analyze any perceived race or sexist wrong. I had to practically force my commander to schedule one of these investigations as he was so afraid of addressing racial problems. Until hearing this book, I was unable to put words to understanding the reverse racism that investigation verified.
Fast forward to 2024. One of my friends had made general. He is retiring due to the ridiculous amount of time and expense spent magnifying any imagined or perceived wrong under an all-pervasive DEI process that is undermining any sense of good order and discipline.
God forbid this nonsense remains in our ranks much longer.

Historia
A revolutionary approach to the techniques of working with horses, by a renowned instructor. In Horses Never Lie, renowned horse trainer Mark Rashid challenges the conventional wisdom of "alpha leadership" and teaches the listener to become a "passive leader" - a counterpart to the kind of horse other members of a herd choose to associate with and to follow. Applying Rashid’s principles and techniques helps cultivate horse personalities that are responsive and dependable regardless of the rider.

Great examples - AWFUL speaker

Would very much enjoy hearing this material presented by a good narrator. The choppy and often staccato reading was almost intolerable.
Of all the Audiobook presentations I’ve listened to, this is the first to be VERY irritating. His nonsensical emphasis coupled with what sounded like attempted dramatic pauses could be included as one of the great blunders.
