Clear-eyed reasoning backed by rigorous research

Professor al-Gharbi presents compelling arguments and evidence to show how those who claim with the loudest voices to represent the needs of the poor and marginalized are more out of touch with the actual needs of those people than the current populists.
The professor doesn’t prescribe changes to help bring actions into alignment with speech; instead, he simply rips the scales from the eyes of symbolic and totemic capitalists to reveal how they have been gaslighting themselves and their allies for decades with rhetoric that doesn’t match their actions, and how that alienates the very classes of people they most fervently claim they want to help.

For those who worry that they'll never be able to retire on their current savings, hope and help have arrived. David's message is that it is never too late to finish rich.

Tables not good for audio.

This is a long-recommended and well-worthwhile book. However it has lots of tables. For future reference, "unabridged" audiobooks with lots of tabular content should include PDF sheets of the tables and a reference inserted by the narrator (e.g., see Table x in pdf attachment y for this information). Five minutes of reading the contents of a table is way too much wasted time for the narrator and listener.
Otherwise the book is very good. Same narrator as the Wheel of Time series if you liked that one.
