Historia
A portrait painting is stolen from a London home. Shortly afterwards, the owner, Nat, calls on genealogist Jefferson Tayte for his help. She believes the subject of the painting, a young girl called Jess, is a past relative and wants to learn more about her. The problem is that Nat's research has hit a brick wall - Jess appears to have vanished from the slums of Victorian London soon after the portrait was painted.

Revisado: 11-15-24
this is a story about a picture of a painted by a Victorian artist. This girl who found herself trapped in the rough ways of the Victorian society and what this means to her descendents. The story takes you between the Victorian era and back to the present time as her descendant follow clues of what happen to this girl and who and why stole her pictures. The end of this book leaves it open to have a second part. Great story and this narrator did a great job on it. I could not stop listen to it. I recommend 100%

Cannot stop listening!
Revisado: 03-17-22
I love the way Mike narrates the story of each ( the criminal and the victims). It is well narrated and research, so much different to other podcast out there! It keep you want to listen until the very end. The extra mile is fantastic! In here you will get extra information about the crime but without an script, it is like sitting and chatting with a friend. I Just cannot have enough of this podcast!

Amazing story!!!
Revisado: 12-13-17
From the very beginning this story caught my attention because I am very fun of William Wallace. I love the story and how close to the truth was... there is so much missing from Wallace’s life that imagine a romance of this magnitude is very refreshing! Could not stop listening to this book... is very romantic and with so much action!! Recomendable to everyone!!

Historia
Bringing the magic and suspense of the All Souls Trilogy to a deeply satisfying conclusion, this highly anticipated finale went straight to number one on the New York Times best seller list. In The Book of Life, Diana and Matthew time-travel back from Elizabethan London to make a dramatic return to the present - facing new crises and old enemies. At Matthew’s ancestral home, Sept-Tours, they reunite with the beloved cast of characters from A Discovery of Witches - with one significant exception.
