Historia
Reports to write, forms to fill, coffee to drink, leads to run down. Gus’s life was a tedium and boredom he’d grown comfortable with. One that he sought out after he’d come back from his tour of duty. A detective in the paranormal investigations department. A job he could work day in and day out in relative peace. One cold and forgotten cup of coffee at a time. It was an environment that made some sense to him. At least in comparison to civilian life where almost nothing did. On top of that, it gave him a chance to hide what he was from the rest of the world.

Its a harem book without a lot of graphic sex
Revisado: 03-09-20
It's a harem book. I dig harem books. A lot of folks seem to get very high-brow about that but honestly, there's nothing wrong with harem books. I personally dig juvenile fantasy in the same way some women like trashy romance novels. Ya like what ya like. William D Arrand can tell a great story and I like his characters and the way he builds the arcs. The ONLY trouble with this series (both this book and the second) in the series is the author has developed a style of writing these harem stories without graphic sex scenes. I'm guessing he's doing this to reach a wider listener base since blatant sex scenes can be a little tough to push he's come up with this style of zero sex scenes and the after report of sex the next day - very '80s sitcom style. Still love his storytelling but if you are looking for the dirty I'd check out series like Wild Wastes and Super Sales on Super Heros instead.

Historia
Steve doesn’t know who he is. Or who he was. He doesn’t know anything, actually. Not even where he is. Other than a vast open field of dirt. All Steve knows is that he’s apparently supposed to build a farm. At least that’s his only workable assumption. Given the number of farm-tools left to him. That and the massive number of sacks full of seeds. Unfortunately, this isn’t even the strangest part of this new life. Hidden inside the farm tools, Steve finds messages. Messages that appear in floating windows in front of him.

Not getting the nay-saying on this one.
Revisado: 06-20-19
I read a few reviews about this newest Randi Darren entry and can't seem to wrap my head around them. It's a super fun story from a guy that loves to write harem books. Simply put, if you liked any of Randi's other works you'll dig this too. Also, all props to Andrea Parsneau - that woman can read the HELL out of a novel.

Historia
Without royal leadership, Kozalin's defenders are falling into turmoil, but mortal problems pale into insignificance when the Gods themselves take an interest in Daniel. With new enemies appearing everywhere he looks, and far too many secrets to keep, can even Daniel's magic save the day? Well, you know what they say. If you can't get results with violence, you aren't being violent enough...

Worth the wait
Revisado: 05-19-19
IMHO the best book of the series so far. Though we had to wait for it, both when the story went and how it was done, was perfect and surprising. As always the narration was excellent and production was flawless.

Historia
Alex has taken firm control over his county as the Count of Brit. By and large, everything has settled into a fairly normal pattern for him, his numbered, and his wife. There's still an ongoing war between two Duchies, and Regina Tannulf, Alex's liege and lord, has plans for him. Plans that he wants no part of. Except that he doesn't really have a choice in the matter.

Better and Better
Revisado: 05-19-19
If possible the second book is better than the first. It expanded on the numbers without going crazy and getting the reader lost. I was a bit worried when Alex was put in not the greatest situation but Randi managed it without being terribly jarring to what we'd like to go on with his numbers in private. Though I must say the more we hear about Anna, the more I love her. Between her and 3 it's a wonder he's not a Duke yet. Well done story indeed!

Historia
Jamie Fraser knows from his time-traveling wife Claire that, no matter how unlikely it seems, America will win the Revolutionary War. But that truth offers little solace, since Jamie realizes he might find himself pointing a weapon directly at his own son - a young officer in the British army. And Jamie isn't the only one with a tormented soul - for Claire may know who wins the conflict, but she certainly doesn't know whether or not her beloved Jamie survives.

Historia
The year is 1771. Claire Randall is still an outlander, out of place and out of time. But now she is linked by love to her only anchor - Jamie Fraser. They have crossed oceans and centuries to build a life together in North Carolina. But tensions, both ancient and recent, threaten members of their clan. Knowing that his wife has the gift of prophecy, James must believe Claire, though he would prefer not to. Claire has shared a dreadful truth - there will, without a doubt, be a war.

Diana Gabaldon’s magnificent historical saga, begun with Outlander and Dragonfly in Amber, continues with this New York Times bestseller. Set in the intriguing Scotland of 200 years ago, the third installment in the romantic adventures of Jamie and Claire is as compelling as the first.
