Historia
Darcy thought his problems were over when Pemberley hatched and successfully imprinted on humans. But baby dragons prove far more difficult than any dragon lore prepared him for. Only Elizabeth Bennet's notes offer him any help. When his imperious Aunt Catherine takes matters into her own hands, things take a turn for the worse and Pemberley’s life hangs in the balance. He desperately needs more of Elizabeth’s help, but she ignores all of his requests. Elizabeth, though, has problems of her own.

Wonderful & Brilliant As The First One!
Revisado: 01-03-20
Just as much as I loved the first one, the Second book in this series did not Disappoint. Once again, its taking characters and people I've always loved and admired and adding extra life to them, and adding in dragons and extra fantasy that just makes it even better. Benjamin Fife once again brought life to these characters in a way simply reading the book alone could not do. I adored every minute of it and I am anxiously awaiting the third book in audiobook form.

Historia
England is overrun by dragons of all shapes and sizes. Most people are blissfully unaware of them and the Pendragon Treaty that keeps the peace between human and dragon kind. Only those born with preternatural hearing, like Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet are able to hear and converse with dragonkind.

Absolutely Brilliant In Every Way!
Revisado: 12-28-19
I unbelievably adored this book! I'm a sucker for anything Jane Austen, and especially retelling and with fantasy elements like Dragons thrown in? It was the perfect combination. Maria Grace did an absolutely brilliant job with this idea and this story and adding such fun to it, and picking Benjamin Fife as the Narrator was astounding. I especially loved his voice as April, who quickly stuck out as my favorite, (which is hard considering Elizabeth Bennet has been one of my top favorite book characters of all time). I cannot wait to get started on the second book of this series and to keep this going. Anyone who loves Fantasy, or Dragons, or Even Jane Austen should give this a listen!

Historia
Folksy and fresh, endearing and affecting, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe is the now-classic novel of two women in the 1980s; of gray-headed Mrs. Threadgoode telling her life story to Evelyn, who is in the sad slump of middle age. The tale she tells is also of two women - of the irrepressibly daredevilish tomboy Idgie and her friend Rut - -who back in the thirties ran a little place in Whistle Stop, Alabama, a Southern kind of Cafe Wobegon offering good barbecue and good coffee and all kinds of love and laughter, even an occasional murder.

Adored This
Revisado: 12-25-19
Being from the South myself, I am often critical on how southern accents are portrayed. Often times people think there is just one southern accent and that's it, but Lorna Raver was Brilliant, you could tell in her voices who was who, and even the age difference in Mrs Threadgoode versus Idgie and Ruth's accents in other parts. I love the story as well, I watched the movie several times growing up and again just recently, and I love how much further into everything the book actually goes, though isn't that often the case with books on film?

Historia
There are few characters in literature more iconic than J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up. Originally introduced in 1902 in another Barrie novel (The Little White Bird), Peter's story was expanded as a standalone novel in 1911 and since then has been memorably adapted for the movies, for television, and for stage.
Now, actress Lily Collins (The Blind Side, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones) brings new, youthful energy to Peter's magical adventures.

Lily Narrates Perfectly.
Revisado: 12-25-19
I have always been such a huge fan of Peter Pan, and this isn't the first audio book I've heard read of it, but I will say It is my favorite. Lily does such an absolutely brilliant job of telling Peter Pan I couldn't stop smiling. Her voice is calm and soothing, and fits the narration perfectly.
