To fully find wholeness, healing & grace is a gift
Revisado: 03-27-25
This story touches my heart and soul everything I read it. Having Gabra Zackman give voice to the sisters, Mickey and Lauren make it a magnificent richness for the heart. I continue to reread this one because of the soulful way Caren Werlinger packs so much life, love and love into the pages. Characters so deep and lovingly flawed with a spiritual grace I feel as I read!

Historia
After recording the last interview of a month-long media extravaganza orchestrated by the brass, NYPD Detectives Chiara Corelli and P. J. Parker are hoping for time out of the spotlight working cold cases and/or solving low profile murders. But the brutal murder of Alessandra Moreau, a singer on track to becoming a superstar, in the living room of New York State Senator Leigh Drayman, a trans woman, is anything but.

Hate filled bigotry robs the innocents of life.
Revisado: 03-07-25
Correlli and Parker are back hoping to just be the detectives with normal cases.
I am doubtful that normal ever works in their world.
I love the mystery that is each case and they unfold in the most intriguing way. This case looked at the harsh reality for people who do not fit the box so many think are proper. The author deals with the cruel, hateful, bigoted way so many are treated in this world just for being themselves. The story sheds light on so many misconceptions and expectations and brings light to so many peoples experience.
The mystery makes it a great story so hard to put down because it has so many layers. I am never disappointed with the job these detectives do and the way their lives are altered throughout the story. I am having eye issues so audible let's me hear and feel the story I struggle to read. Abby Craden brings the characters to life so richly sharing the feelings. I love these two women and the partnership they have formed. I selfishly look forward to their next case.

I was not disappointed with book 5 in the series. to see Hunter get her extra happy and Kegam and Willow again, priceless. I loved the Brady story and the journey toward love for them. of course intrigue and mystery are a must and K.A. Moll gave us a brilliant story and great dialogue. oh and Abby Craden made them real, emotions, heartache and shared journey brought to life. I loved it.

This story introduced me to a gentle vampire and a love so deep that love lifetime

Rebel Night does a fantastic job giving emotion to the beautiful cast of characters. What fabulous story and there is more to come. Thank you Ali Spooner for broadening my reading soul.

A love so strong pain & loss only this love heals.
Revisado: 12-09-24
Justine Blackburn knows what dedication means,in every part of her life except in love. A harsh life of unacceptable hate from the ones who were supposed to love you brought a care for the many people who experience it daily. The Rainbow Shelter and how she built the shelter for homeless queer youth is about to be a movie.
How someone who was abandoned can love so deeply only makes sense when you see that letting love in for herself does not happen.
Enter Sienna an actress portraying her lover in her youth. The story that unfolds and how they learn to love each other is just priceless. Abby Craden gives life to very strong characters and the cast of support folks. Brilliantly written with loss, pain and forgiveness . A beautiful listen of an epic story.

Revisado: 10-28-24
Sully and Bryn are just getting to know each other again. Bryn is the new Veterinarian taking over for her Grandpa and Sully's ranch trains horses. They were friends when they were little but I loved listening to their relationship blossom. Ali Spooner brings real life trial moments for this new relationship and some powerful grief they have to navigate. Kendal is something neither was ready for but love rules. Susan Knight gave voice to characters I love and feeling to powerful moments. I love this story of animals+ Sunspot is just the cutest horse- and the love they all share warms the heart. A great read and marvelous listen.

Historia
When six childhood friends get together for their annual girl's weekend at the beach in Port Aransas, none could have believed it would be for the very last time. Nina Evans had been saddled with organizing the weekend each year, pulling five of her oldest friends together for a few nights of fun and reminiscing, the one time a year they saw each other. Each year was much the same—laughter, dancing, and lots of drinking. This time was no different. That is, until Jones walked out of the dance club with a stranger.

The best mystery, murder and a great love story .
Revisado: 09-18-24
This story had me under a spell from the very first chapter. Such a complicated mystery that kept getting more lethal. Quinn was the strong detective that was trying to unwind the murder but it just seemed out of reach. Nina was the best gift from this horrible case. Their relationship seemed to just grow so quickly. It was nice to see Dee and Fin from Moonlight as the story unfolded. I am never disappointed by a Gerri Hill story told by Abby Craden. I just loved it.

Revisado: 08-22-24
This story left me wondering if the box we place love in is too small. Sky, Kegan and Celeste bring a whole new definition to love. Yes there is desire but there can be so much more to it. 3 beautiful, intelligent and loving women know what they want in life.. it is a different storyline, very hot in how they share their desire, but as they grow to love each other there is more. Ali Spooner delivers a story you can feel on so many levels. Rebel Knight brings to life a passionate story deliciously told.

A new life or just a challenge what a story.
Revisado: 06-21-24
As usual Heidi Bindhammer brings Ali Spooner magic to life. A beautiful story about a city girl who finds her heart in the bush of Alaska. Tatum already had an courageous heart. The way in which she accepted and lived the challenge her father made as he decided who would lead the company when he retired forged a new life. River is the goddess of the woods who helped her learn what living of the land can mean. Of course trusting each other could mean only the best kind of love. This is such a good story about life so different but so right! love it. So glad this listen is out because waiting for Ali Spooner's books is just hard.

A story about being seen, heard and loved.
Revisado: 06-08-24
What a magnificently told story. My heart breaks that this is what so many young people experience or worse from people supposed to love you. Natalie Naudus tells this story from so many angles with insight to a lot of the emotional experience and support needed by young people. It was an eye opener for me of the conservative theocracy that runs so many cult like religions. I found the inner strength and courage of these young characters so inspiring. This is a great story of the courage it takes to be who you are called to be. Bravo, love it, great author, amazing narrator and a story so beautiful!
