Historia
Nice Victorian ladies don’t run off to find legendary lost cities. One trifling little arrest shouldn’t have cost Ellie Mallory her job, but it’s only the latest in a line of injustices facing any educated woman with archaeological ambitions. When Ellie stumbles across the map to a mysterious ancient city, she knows she’s holding her chance to revolutionize Pre-Colombian history. There’s just one teensy complication.

Love the story and pacing. The characters are so well developed that it's easy to fall in love with them. The narration is also fantastic and adds so much to the experience of this book. I had so much fun with this. Can't wait to listen to book 2

Historia
When The Sandman, also known as Lord Morpheus - the immortal king of dreams, stories and the imagination - is pulled from his realm and imprisoned on Earth by a nefarious cult, he languishes for decades before finally escaping. Once free, he must retrieve the three “tools” that will restore his power and help him to rebuild his dominion, which has deteriorated in his absence.

Awesome
Revisado: 07-31-21
I loved the Sandman comics and I love this adaptation. everyone sounded just like I imagined the characters to sound like. I particularly adored James Mcavoy and Kat Dennings' performances. I think this adaptation has spoiled me for future adaptations because this has, for me, raised the bar so high for any future adaptations to not pale in comparison.

Historia
Although it is autumn in the small English town of Bishop’s Lacey, the chapel is decked with exotic flowers. Yes, Flavia de Luce’s sister, Ophelia, is at last getting hitched, like a mule to a wagon. “A church is a wonderful place for a wedding”, muses Flavia, “surrounded as it is by the legions of the dead, whose listening bones bear silent witness to every promise made at the altar.”

I really enjoyed the book and I love how it was narrated. The narrator depicted Flavia De Luce perfectly. it makes me want to revisit the previous books and listen to their audio versions if they are narrated by her
