Historia
For Christians who are struggling to understand what it means to be pious and how to embrace the classic Christian practices of piety, Thank, Praise, Serve, and Obey shows that acts of piety are not simply rules to keep in order to be a "good" Christian, but they are how the new life in Christ is lived out in day-to-day life.
This book explores how to properly hear in the Scriptures our heavenly Father summoning us to the joy and freedom of living and growing as His beloved children through Jesus Christ.

Historia
How can Christians today interact with those around them in a way that shows respect to those whose beliefs are radically different but that also remains faithful to the gospel? Timothy Keller and John Inazu bring together illuminating stories - their own and from others - to answer this vital question. Uncommon Ground gathers an array of perspectives from people thinking deeply and working daily to live with humility, patience, and tolerance in our time.

deceptive
Revisado: 02-03-21
several of the individual contributors assumed the progressive presuppositions which don't match reality and so I did not find this helpful. I had higher expectations from Timothy Keller. If the parties can not agree on what is true, how can there be any "Common Ground "?

Historia
Nothing except the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is a greater miracle or wonder in human history. Jesus of Nazareth was foretold in the Torah and the Prophets centuries before his appearance and he was proved to be real and not a pretender due to his death and Resurrection. The early church grappled with all of this intellectually. Many heresies were confronted, answered, and dismissed. Throughout the 2000 plus years of church history, many of the early church heresies have reappeared over and over again. Whether you are Catholic or Protestant the answers are from the Word of God.

an argument worth considering
Revisado: 12-29-20
the Early Church Fathers are proven brilliant men who thought through the Holy Scriptures and held to the orthodox truth which the Apostles taught and Christian Church holds to today as well.
