This is my first introduction to Dara Horn’s work. It is magnificent and expresses my feelings never written down or spoken out of fear. She gives me courage and i will read every word she has written.
At first i was put off by the deadpan fry of the reader’s narration but soon i heard it as a perfect and brilliant reading.

I thought The hypnotic drone of Macleod Andrews would drive me crazy but it so fit the tone and mood of Ackerman’s brilliant writing that I was mesmerized throughout. I Consumed entire story in one sitting. Reminded me of Tolstoy’s Death of Ivan Ilyich. Tough stuff but worth the pain.
