This was a great quirky little story. I love this all this work. It stays consistent to all the other things that he does. He takes you for a fun and interesting ride. I want more.

A Near Miss . Wanted so badly to love it.

I am an avid reader, and I find that as I get older, it gets harder and harder to find a really good story that I haven’t already heard at some point. I wanted so badly to love this story. The Night Circus is now one of my favorite books. So beautifully written, however this is story had wonderful elements but was an overall disappointment. It has all of the ingredients of a really amazing story. Very much like her first book. However, somehow it left me wanting and frustrated. There is a disjointed quality about the story. It doesn’t gel properly. Someone else said it best, the editor needed to get in there and really help the story along. I got lost in it all halfway through. This is one book that I would recommend the author pull a Stephen King down the road and rewrite it and then republish it. Got all the makings of a really great story. It just felt rushed and incomplete somehow.

I love the narrator of the wizard. He made me want to continue hearing the story. Mulligan’s delivery was very good as well. You’ll have a nice couple of hours with this one.

Best Sappy Love Story Ever - Spoiler Alert

Great story up to the last ten pages. I love a happy ending BUT you’ve got to be kidding me. It felt like Jude got tired at the end and had reached her word quota. We got stuck with a sloppy wrap up. Wish she had invested a more realistic ending.

Dark & Disturbing

This was a great Star Wars story. However, it was very dark and very disturbing. It went against the grain of all the things that we think we should believe and had a very insidious point of view. Very well written. I had empathy for the main character. However rooting for this character in my mind was equivalent to saying “I don’t believe in God“. There was something intrinsically wrong with supporting this character and the rational of the story but his evolution was captivating and had an air of authenticity.

Can't get enough of this series. Thank God there are only four books in the series. Real life was taking a beating. I couldn't put it down.

Amazing Series

I would recommend this book to anyone. What an amazing series. The books are great as standalone as well. I was surprised as I continued to read each following edition. Can’t wait for whatever it is this guy does next. So obsessed with this author.
